Don’t use this app if you care about your funding!
This app stole 30$ from me and when I could’ve used only 10$. It’s like they tried so hard to make this app convenient they made it unintentionally confusing and inconvenient. I tried using the dryers but the second I payed for it they asked for 10 more cents and so I had to pay the same price twice when really I could have payed 2.50$ at a normal laundry. There needs to be an option to add however much money I want to a already running machine

Horrible
This is one of the worst apps I have ever had the misfortune of being forced to use. It consistently will refuse to connect to machines that it had connected to just 50 minutes before. Sometime just 1 minute before in the case of a dryer that you want to add additional time to. Or it will indicate it’s connecting only to spin for minutes at a time before erroring out. Some days it won’t even see machines that the day before showed in the app just fine, even though the machine appears to be functioning. This is the second location where I’ve had to use this app, same experience in both building in different cities.

Unethical and dishonest practices
The app seems to be purposefully engineered to ensure you don’t get a refund or assistance if a machine malfunctions, and they hope you give up because the effort wouldn’t be worth your time. I won’t use this service ever again.
Coins are 1000x better
Requires a minimum 10$ deposit via Apple Pay just to use the machines. Laundromats remove coin just to get people to spend more money on these terrible apps.

Upgrading my rating. Although app is not easy to use, issues with double charges and unnecessary funding resolved through chat/email with customer service very promptly.

Frustrating
This app is frustrating, something that should be simple is actually an issue. EVERY time I try to add a quarter to the dryer (you can only add one at a time), I have to force quit the app and reopen - otherwise it sits on authorizing and does nothing. And EVERY time I have to force quit, it asks “are you sure you want to add, you just did” YES I WANT TO ADD, 1 quarter isnt going to dry my clothes. PLEASE fix such a simple, yet super annoying issue

Responsive Customer Service
The app is very easy to understand and use. I don’t need to carry around change and put them into the machine. Very great design. I had an issue with payment on one of the washing machines, but when I contacted customer service, I got a refund. Great customer service and great user-friendly design of the app!

Steals your money
almost 30% of the time I use this it ends up charging me twice or just draining my balance if I leave anything on it
Nothing but bugs
The app is glitchy at best. iPhone 14 and now 17 still the same. I have to restart my phone in order for the app to recognize the various laundry machines I use in my apartment and even if it does recognize a certain machine I may still say that the machine is in use when it is clearly not. I spend 30 minutes at least working through this issue.

Positive reviews are fake, Pay Range stinks.
Pay range is a terrible app with the worst customer service. Constantly having issues with deposit being refunded when I need to wash laundry, request repair for broken machine doesn’t work either. Avoid using Pay Range if possible.

I downloaded this app because my apartment complex switched to the app instead of quarters. I added money to my account. The app detected the washer but after it took my money it kept telling me I still owed a quarter which it had already taken the full amount but the washer still wouldn’t start because the app said I still owed a quarter’. So almost 2 dollars later I deleted my account, the app also r went to the laundromat. When I contacted the app they made excuses and blamed everyone else and wouldn’t refund my money

Took money from my account that didn’t load onto the machine twice. $12 for two washes. Scammers
Doesn’t take any payment methods
I’m attempting to use 3 different payment methods but the only thing that seems to work is specifically Apple Cash.
Paze does not work at all when attempting to enroll. How did this get screwed up?
The new system implemented as a “resolution” doesn’t work. Support took over a month to reply to being overcharged.

Pain in the neck
This app requires too much effort just to wash a few loads of clothes.
1) download the app
2) create an account
3) fund the account
4) allow the app access to your bluetooth
It ended up easier to go back to the front desk and get some quarters.

MONEY BACK, NOW!
I want my unused funds back now. I have relocated to a place that does not have any of facilities that are compatible with this utility. It has been years. I have followed all of the instructions. I can find online for getting my unused funds back and I get no response and my money is still not returned. I really want Apple to stop allowing applications to take money with no system for returning it quickly. I WANT MY MONEY BACK NOW! I really really wish that Apple would stop allowing developers to put our cash on their account accounts through apps, with no ability to refund unused balance. I have two apps with small amounts of money on them, and I want my unused money back. This really should be seen to by Apple as soon as possible. It is untenable!

Basically fraud…laundry machines require this terrible app for washer and dryer but nothing ever works, deposit money then balance was zero without using it and customer service is bots or the dumbest people in existence
Horrible customer support
PayRange hasn’t worked for me in over 2 months. Customer support is completely useless. They just play hot potato with the building management instead of resolving the issue.
Unreliable
My buildings laundry uses this app and it has been a nightmare for every tenant. The app routinely does not allow machines to connect to your phone so you aren't allowed to do laundry or even worse dry your wet laundry. I would not wish this service upon my worst enemies.
