DELETE THIS IMMEDIATELY

This is the worst app I’ve ever come across. It’s so terrible it forced me to write my first ever review. How do you make an app that only allows you to access doors on ONE device? Half the time it doesn’t work and it’s so inconvenient. If you want to switch devices because again, only ONE device is allowed at a time, it blocks you because you’ve been resetting “too much”. I don’t know how it’s possible to create an app with 1.7 stars, but you guys managed to do it. To the developers: please consider deleting this app immediately. It doesn’t even deserve to be on the App Store.

Response from developer

The PDK Access App can be used by multiple people, but since it's a security app provided by an organization, the organization must invite additional users or grant access to a different device. Please reach out to your Property or Facility Manager. If we can help you in any way, reach us at stars@prodatakey.com.

Continues to disappoint

I have this for neighborhood gate access. It continues to fail to connect to the keypad, and frequently discontinues my credentials. It’s been a huge waste of time talking with access managers, installing and reinstalling.

Response from developer

Please reach out to us at stars@prodatakey.com. We will investigate this and what is happening at your location.

Terrible

This app doesn’t work, you never get your email codes when you try to request them. Terrible system to use for your gym.

Response from developer

We’re sorry this isn’t the experience we expected after we updated our credential workflow. Could you please share your thoughts through App Feedback in the app and mention your App Store review? We’ll jump right on it!

horrible

genuinely a horrible app. so many issues. logged me out and LOCKED me out of the app multiple times causing me to be locked out of my building on multiple occasions which is just ridiculous.

Response from developer

Hey Mallory, sorry for the trouble this is causing! Credentials are only cleared/reset if you switch phones, delete them, or restore a backup. If it happens again, shoot us an email at stars@prodatakey.com so we can dig into this for you.

He’s just missing two things I would love to see

Can you make an Apple Watch version and maybe a widget?

Response from developer

We’re excited to add Apple Watch support using Apple Wallet credentials—just let your property or facility manager know you’d love to see Wallet and Watch features, require special readers and additional software. Widgets are coming soon as part of our future plans.

How do I get a digital credential for the app?

Invites for digital credentials typically arrive via email. You can also add your email address within the app to retrieve an existing credential. Your organization determines which unlocking methods are available for your property.
