Suggestion

Loving the app and the programs.

If I could make a suggestion before starting each block. Can you show the workout and the weights used the last time so I can prepare it during the rest countdown.
Currently I have to start it, then spend a few minutes adjusting the weight.

Great workout….but

Only recommendation I have is that since this is a gym workout it is sometimes necessary to wait on equipment. If this workout chunked workouts using same equipment that would be awesome.

Need more variety. Add more loop band options for those who travel.

bait and switch / fraud

peloton has started throttling regular classes to force users to upgrade to the next tier which is double the price and appears to be using an algorithm to do it. in recent weeks suddenly many of the regular strength classes by my favorite instructors on the app are marked as "exclusive" ie you have to upgrade to another tier at more than twice the price - but here is the kicker - the "exclusive " throttling on those classes is ONLY during periods when i normally work out . when i open the app at other times say 4 pm instead of my usual workout time of 9 am those same classes are all available . also exclusive classes used to be rare and like "here's a workout to beyonces new album" not every day . the new practice is fraudulent deception bait and switch. it is like ordering at chipotle and seeing the prices and then the cashier saying at check out actually if you want your burrito no it is $30 more .

Good UI, Repetitive Exercises

This app didn’t do it for me. I’ve been strength training for many years, but do it at 5am so want someone else to give me a list of exercises. I tried this for 4 months and found the exercises to be very repetitive. Also, even when I select the option to have it recommend weights, it didn’t. I switched to a different app.

Abandoned App !

As of the time of writing, it’s been 10 months since its last development !

Honestly at first look, I loved it. But it lacks the continuous improvement that I would’ve expected.
The experience of going through a plan and working out is not optimal.
Not sure if it’s worth it.

They definitely got some parts right, but missed the others in a big way.

1. I like seeing a video of the movement as I’m preforming it
2. I like there art AI generated and also user generated plans
2. I like swiping and having rest.

What I would like to see:
1. Rest should be customizable per movement
2. Rest should be there between blocks too
3. Whenever I stop the plan in going through, it should automatically save my weights, regardless of weather I finished the plan or not.
4. Fix big weights not saved
5. AI generated weights are confusing.
6. No weights recommendations based on my history and fitness level.
7. I should be able to add a custom movement if I want to

So much potential

This app has so much potential for Peloton but is so underutilized. There haven’t been new programs added in over a year. I wish there was a way to turn peloton strength classes into programs in strength+. This would be especially great with the splits and hypertrophy strength classes where taking them in a gym would be ideal to get access to heavier weights.

Please fix the bugs

Been using this for 9+ month or so. Love it. But any time lately I got to rename a workout the app freezes and I lose all my saved exercises. Please fix!

Love it but buggy

I love this app. But it’s buggy right now: at some point during each of the workouts that I’ve done over the past 45 days or so the screen gets out of sync with the audio cues. It will say rest for 45 seconds while still showing Bulgarian squat screen. And when it does that, the GIF of the workout doesn’t work.

Please fix this and I’ll come back and read at five stars.

Also, please add an export function to Garmin connect just like normal peloton workouts.

ai slop

look some of the ai use is okay, but the cheap ai voice work is horrendous just pay a trainer 300 bucks to be voice over. not that hard

Great strength training app

I’ve used plenty of programs and this by far has the best setup and variety. Really impressed.

Fix the glitches

A nice addition to the main Peloton app, however consistently glitches which is quite frustrating. While you can enjoy your own playlist via phone streaming, whenever I go to Apple Music to select a new song/playlist (or any other app- ie text message, phone, etc) the Strength+ app restarts what I assume is another workout embedded under my current workout. I can continue, however I get dings to continue “other” workout on my Apple Watch and phone for the rest of my session. This has been an ongoing problem. I hope they can fix it.

Nice to have, not necessary

Can’t say this does AI strength programming any different than any other app, which is disappointing. Also, no iPad app is a bit poor for a premium service. I will not be renewing. Not to say it is bad, just know it’s not exceptional

Needs work

Clearly built on AI. Would be great to get an option to prompt what I'm looking for or if I'm currently dealing with an injury (which I am). Additionally, spent 20 minutes customizing a workout, went to another app for a few minutes while I was getting ready, when I came back it was gone and I had to recreate it.

Amazing app

I’d never tried the strength plus app as I assumed it only requires gym equipment. Was I wrong!! Started my first program today and bayyyybee in the words of our instructor Robin Arzon it was exhilarating!! It allows you to exchange out workouts if you don’t have the equipment and it was a burner even though you can go at your own pace. Can’t wait to do more!! 👊🏾

Connect

This is fine, but it really needs to be able to connect to something like a peloton tread or bike or whatever peloton equipment we have that has a screen. If I have an account, I should be able to see this workout on my peloton
