Amazon ratings for the hardware must be wildly faked. The hardware works just ok, but this app is absolutely terrible. It appears to be abandoned entirely by the creators. Had to return my pet feeder. Wouldn’t recommend any product this app touches with a ten foot pole.

Confused
My one disappointment was that I did not see where I needed “D” batteries. I wasn’t prepared for that. I’ve see some negative reviews and they have confused me. Once I got the batteries, and downloaded the app, I was good to go. I didn’t have any problems setting it up. If you know military time it’s much easier to set a feeding schedule for each day at each time. I have not had a problem revising my schedule. As a matter of fact, I waited to see what happened at 6:30 PM, aka, 18:30 and realized I had programmed too much food. I revised each feeding time, no problem. So far I’m very happy and I think anyone who buys this and downloads the app needs to just have patience. There is nothing wrong with this feeder/app. I will update in a few days.

Horrible. Worked for a few months and now my feeder cannot connect and my feeding schedule kept disappearing before then. Horrible trash. Don’t even dare use a product that has this app, you’re gonna cry out of stress.
This app is not good
I got my automatic feeder today, downloaded the app and got it to finally accept my feeder. Then I set up a schedule, but needed to change it. The app wouldn’t delete the lines of schedules so I had to remove the feeder off of the app and start over. Then I wanted to manually add some more food right before bed and the app wouldn’t work at all. I closed it out a few times and retried but it still wouldn’t work. I googled these things and apparently there are tons of people who have the same issues and some say they contacted the help and no one ever got back to them.

Easy to program the feeder with this app
It’s easy to set and change the feeding schedule with this app.

The UI is inexcusably bad
This company needs to stop whatever it is doing right now and fire the person responsible for the unlabeled and unexplained toggle switch in the upper right of the device page. Hire an English translator for one hour to give a tip on how to do UX.

I bought this unit from Amazon, looked great, then I had to download the app, and see the 1 star and my heart sank… I nearly didn’t even try, but thought I’d give it a go! Not sure what the other reviewers have tried to do but it was perfect, so easy to setup, honestly I have had a harder job setting up Bluetooth speakers than this feeder, app is clean and clear, and setup is a breeze, I bet given half a chance my toddler could do it!

It works great on my iPad. I even used it when I went to Florida for my sister’s birthday.
Once set, don’t expect to make changes
The initial setup wasn’t the easiest but once set, it was reliable and the camera works well. Recently, I noticed the time was off and wanted to adjust the clock. I have the location configured but finding the clock is impossible. The help section isn’t very helpful even when using the search.
It worked for about 2 months
We loved it when we first got it but now it doesn’t work anymore. So for 2 months we have had to manually get up to feed the cats. So what’s the point? We can’t go on vacation with this (which is why we bought it) would not recommend unless the app gets updated…

It’s bad
The app has a lot of things but they are all over the place. Even finding something i set before is hard. I created automation for the water fountain when you go in the device you see it there but there is no add or edit button, you have to back out all the way to main screen where all the devices are and then go to scenes tab to do it. The push notifications stopped working, i see them in the log but not getting any. When i try to setup a new scene that sends notifications, the send notification option is grayed out and pressing shows some gibberish alert.
Unfortunately these companies push out products with half working hardware and app, collect the money and disappear, happened with led strips, happened with plugs etc.. pay a little more and buy from a known reputable company so at least when you have a problem you’ll get an answer.

Can’t close app
Feeder seems to work well. App is functional, although a little clunky. Only real problem is that closing out of the app entirely removes the feeding schedule I set up. I shouldn’t have to leave the app constantly running to be able to feed my cat
App forgot everything
App forgot all my info and doesn't connect to the feeder anymore.
Can’t feed remotely
Can feed through wifi when I’m home but the purpose of the app is to help me feed my pet when i am away from home. This app doesn’t work on data after a while. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app to see if it repaired itself
What could be better?
It is 2025 and applications should be able to detect the difference between 2G and 5G and should connect seamlessly without no error every single time
No Portion Setting
The app does not match the directions. According to the directions when I go into meal plan, I should be able to select portions. Instead, I can only select feed number, which only does one SMALL portion.
