Your app sucks

If you use request does not work if you use map next to you does not work if use pictures it does not work

App needs work

I can log into my account on any computer but not the app. When I enter my info on the app and try to sign in, an “Okay” pops up but I’m still unable to access my account.

App doesn’t work

App installs and launches but buttons/menus don’t load, only the background.

Needs a feedback option

There should be a way to suggest edits within the platform. For example, reporting/requesting PPA enforcement sends the user to an automated line that does not give the option to report parking violations. It’s a different number, but it forces the user to waste their time and then research what the actual number is. It seems like once it’s outside their org, they don’t test if the solution is true.

Crashes, but sometimes works

It’s a good app for communicating issues in the city, and is better than waiting on hold while you call into 311 itself. But whenever I try to attach a photo, it fails to attach. And when I select “use last photo,” it crashes.

Can’t log in

Won’t send recovery email. Went to company’s site that makes the app. They don’t have tech support. Sends to another site with a different company and you have to make an account to join that “community” whatever that means.

App not functioning

App says “attachment failed” when submitting photos. Deleted app, re-installed, and now it is completely non-functional.

Doesn’t Work

It simply doesn’t work. No way to get past the first screen. No login or create an account link. Or any links.

Bad reaction time

Complaints not fulfilled timely

Needs an option to report hazardous parking violations

The 311 app for NYC and other large cities have the option to report dangerous parking violations that pose a public safety hazard. Why has Philadelphia’s app not implemented this as an option?

Poorly designed; login issues

I’m not sure the effectiveness of reporting to 311 but I continue to use it. This review isn’t for the city’s effectiveness or lack thereof, but for the app.

The app doesn’t ask you to log in to report an issue until you try to submit a request. If you have a login issue, you’ll lose your progress. This has happened to me multiple times with an error that says my email isn’t verified, which is inaccurate because I’ve used this account for years. Attempting to resend the verification iemail and click the link fails, saying I am clicking an old link. Clearly their system is broken. I tried this from the app and website with the same issue. I also reset my password and had the same issue. However, I was able to log in using the profile page in the app instead of the login prompt when trying to submit an issue.

Aside from the grueling login issue which renders the app useless unless you can get around it, the flows for submitting issue are poorly designed so you have to tap in and out of each question to make a selection instead of progressing through the form naturally. I would rather have one long form so I could just scroll than all this nonsense tapping in and out of pages. Whoever designed this didn’t use it themselves. Most people would want to use this on the go, but it’s not designed for that, unfortunately.

Doesn’t include the information I need, and has a weird concept of what “nearby” means

Almost the only reason I ever call 311, is to hear the automated announcement about whether trash and recycling collection are a day delayed or not. You would think if it’s important enough to put a notice on the automated phone system, it would be important enough to include on the home screen of the app. Do they? Noooo.

I allowed it to have access to my precise location, so that if I hit the requests nearby option, it would give me some useful information. But all but a few of the requests are for a completely different part of the city than I live in, on streets I never even heard of, and ZIP Codes that only have three digits in common with mine. Requests in the next ZIP Code over, less than a mile from me, show up about 20 items down, with requests that are at least 5 miles away from me being first. It should start with my ZIP Code and work its way geographically out in all directions. But I guess that’s a little too much common sense to ask for.

Deleting this useless app, I’ll try again in a few years when hopefully my tax dollars have hired a better team of programmers.

Philly law enforcer are garbagg

Philly law enforcers won’t help at all, all they do is sit in front of a desk and even cars, and much in donuts and coffees all day long. That’s why u see overweight officers. Meanwhile the PPA is on fire giving out more parking tickets rather than red light tickets. City is fcked.

Buggy

Crashes. Every. Single. Time. To the point of being unusable. Thanks, developers.

App does not work

I downloaded the app because the web form was not working, and found out that the app will not go past the loading scree and also does not work. May need to call 311 on this

Philly 311

I think Philly 311 is great it’s a way of connecting you with your city officials. If you need something done in your neighborhood they are the right people to work with for the better of your neighbor and our city. Thank you. London Hamilton

Needs a major update

The use this app on the on regular, but what needs to improve is the updating of request on the app, I get the updates of my request from my email not the app. Getting updates on request on the app would be a big improvement.

👎 Bloody Terrible

Useless app, just a public method used as a fake tranquilizer towards hazardous requests to get city taken care off but for no effort from any city department. Don't waste your time. Booooo.

Useless

App is unresponsive/slow. Requests sit open for months. What a joke. City of Philadelphia needs to significantly increase investment in 311 to make it a viable service.

Buggy

It is impossible now to submit reports. The app doesn’t get out of its loading screen once the “submit request” is pressed.
With Philadelphia authorities having a history of ignoring calls/reports etc, one wonders if this is by design.
