Not a user friendly application

Their service is laways unavailable and they will always tell you that the merchant is not responding. Better go with their competitors who are more efficient in providing good business. Like Grab ☺️

BAD SERVICE

My order took hours to be delivered, and I only got updates after following up multiple times. I was even asked to change my mode of payment, only to be told later that it would be delivered the next day. In the end, I had to book a Grab just to get my order since it was for our dinner.

Don’t use this app!

I ordered for a grocery delivery and it was processed 5 hours after. I asked just for a refund on delivery fee in exchange for the time i lost. They don’t value and respect the time of other people! Time is very important!

Unreliable App

Every time I order, there will always be an item that won’t be available. The inventory isn’t updated. I don’t really get the value for money for the shopping and delivery fee. Not recommended

Sync

No sync between devices. I load my shopping cart on my iPad, i open my iphone and the cart is empty and web site cart is empty although I’m logged into all 3 with the same account

Too Spammy when Notifications are Enabled

This app is FAR too spammy when notifications are enabled. I want notifications enabled for deliveries but am considering disabling them so my phone isn’t spamming me multiple times per day. I cannot see a place to disable offer or deal notifications.

Fix Map

Could it be that this is the worst update as of late? I am unable to track the delivery of my items because it just shows the map of the country and not where the courier is with respect to my house. #fail

I like that Juliana/shopper called me. I was able to replace and add items to my last. I will be a regular customer. Hope i can order from Palawan, where I live, to be delivered to my elderly PWD aunt and uncle.

Delivered late and frozen items spoiled. No way to contact customer service other than a bot.

Used once. Never again.

Bad functionality

Poor App design can’t validate card details - have to delete all and reinstall. Add card button off the page so difficult to add with smaller phone like iPhone SE.

Pickaroo could have been the best but

No ice packs for chilled and frozen food products, melted ice cream because it was used to keep the other items cold. Your operations manager should review Food Safety Basics and Cold Chain Logistics.

Accessibility

This app still needs a lot of work. From sign up to verification process to chatting with their support - the steps are all broken and disjointed. Three customers in the same room had the same experience. It’s not intuitive, the design doesn’t make it easy to use the service. I reached out to their support but since I couldn’t even get verified (they had no record of several attempts) I couldn’t reply to them directly and the chat function doesn’t appear. I’m writing the review here with the hopes they can see and fix their sign up/ verification process because they are gatekeeping customers from their own service.

Super helpful and user friendly

A straightforward, user friendly and very beneficial app! Shoppers and delivery team have been so far so helpful and smart about making decisions. They communicate well.

Payment & customer service issue

They said Mastercard will work but my Apple card didn’t work. I was trying to send food to my family afflicted with COVID-19 in the Philippines. Customer service took more than 20 mins for their first reply and sadly, was not able to reaolve the issue.

Needs GPS Tracking

This app needs real time GPS tracking (like the Grab app). It would be much easier to coordinate meeting up with the delivery driver upon their arrival.

Pointless

So it's supposed to help you to shop groceries conveniently. However if the item is not availble, and the alternative is availble, even if it's in the grocery but not in their app, they can't buy it for you. So what's the point? You're better off with Grab pabili.

Pick-a-roo for President

I don’t know what’s more to love about this app.
a) the incredible efficiency and professionalism of their shoppers?
b) always on time or even early delivery.. how dare they!
c) the extremely easy user interface of the app that ANYONE can use
d) the witty tita tongue-in-cheek codes (remember the towel promo???)
e) the multiple deals and savings we’ve enjoyed in their one year of existence or
f) the incredible assortment of goods and products offered

I would say all of the above! Easily everything i’ve ever looked for in an app.

Cheesy, but this app delivers (pun intended) in doing everyone in its value chain GOOD. Gives income to delivery drivers during a pandemic, check. Allows restaurants and other businesses (whether small or big) a new channel to be discovered, check. Unite people with national pride with a simple discount code (Hidilyn), check. Offers an simple, quick delivery serbice so that we can safely stay home, check. Solve emergency grocery needs (no more diapers! flat iron busted!) of a harried housewife, check.

Every time I get a notification from Pickaroo, I know something good’s going to happen. In these unreliable times, it’s great that we have something dependable to count on.

Game-changer in the online delivery app

Pickaroo isn’t just aesthetically pleasing. It is a one-stop shop for everything that you need and want. Products are categorized and well-presented. They really put an effort to put a description at the bottom of every product. They also have a favorite feature which I love because it saves time and energy. Just click on ❤️ and check out. I also love the fact that you can do your grocery and food shopping in your most convenient time and have it delivered in your preferred day and time. I’ve been using their App for a year now and I can say that this is definitely a game-changer. 1 year and counting with ROO! ❤️🦄

User friendly app for everyone.

The app is just a year old but the wide variety of stores and reliability of the app and riders is impecible. It is really a ONE STOP SHOP for everyone any age and gender. My 63 yr old mom is not tech inclined but she uses the app flawlessly and with ease. Also, is it virtually appealing. I think the app is well thought of and designed carefully to cater everyone’s needs. Keep up the good work unicorns and please continue the 8 peso promo daily. We are really enjoying the promo.
