I am really disappointed for them service I request for money transfer receipt from 2016 to 2023 they never provide me that. That’s very important for me. Someone told me I need to submit written request whatever they told I did many times I send email for my transaction receipt but nobody give me that . I never gonna use it send money anymore

Communication problem
The Placid owner is from Bangladesh, so he routed all customer support from Bangladesh; they can not speak English properly. Lot of communication gap. I'm uninstalling this app.
Profile locked
It’s has been more than a month but issue not resolved I have sent 9 emails and have called them 11 or more times every time people who pick up the phone they says they have forwarded my concern to technical team they are working on it no one cares , so before using them make sure fund you want to send are for NOT any emergency reasons like hospital expenses of family or any other family emergency or EMI of loan as for sure you will miss it

Is this even legit company?
Everything looked fine until the day after I started a transaction and they asked over a call to provide employer’s name, address and official email address. Seriously? Is this even legal in the United States? My money is gone, but thankfully I was smart enough to put only a small amount, as a trial to see if it even works.

Worst customer support and service
I generally, don’t get angry. These customer support guys don’t know their policy and every time they say different reason for to process the funds. Sense less fellows. I recommend Remitly over this.

Scammers
Don’t use this app. If you use debit cart they want to last transaction on you account.
Low rates (by 10% in many cases) and app crashes
They provide the lowest rates in comparison to Ria or other money transfer companies. Also app crashes when trying to view previous transactions. In addition to.facetime not working. They don't seem to wanting to fix these issues for years.
Update started working
The app was reinstalled and started working now. Initially it was hanging at Home Screen and not moving ahead.
Horrible customer service
I called the placid customer service center regarding an issue, instead of listening to my problem the person was giving me instructions where to email. Then when i was asking to get more details about the instructions, then person said i have explained enough and hung up the phone on my face!! Worst customer service experience.

Useless policies
If its my money i should ne allowed to send whenever i want, it does not mean i have to benin usa or wherever, you should only do the needful documentation to ensure smooth and safe transactions.
