I love the fast charging. 14 min from 17% to 80%. I do wish others who charge would park straight. My car is huge and it helps if I can get into a space.

Excellent EV Charging App

“Very useful and reliable app for finding EV charging stations. The map is easy to use, and the information from other users is extremely helpful when planning trips. Highly recommended for EV drivers.”

An essential app

I can’t really take a long car trip in my EV without PlugShare. Precise information about stations along your route, distances between them, and useful commentary from users. It’s a must-have.

Location

Good to know where the ev charger is, when I need to charge I don’t have to search, just jump to this app and I find it

THE BEST!

If you have an EV, you gotta have PlugShare!

Buggy app

It’s too soon to tell how accurate the charger data is, but it does seem to correspond to what native charging networks say.

But PlugShare’s app is buggy, surprising for such an established app. Examples:

1. If you try to create a new account using Hide My Email, the autofill password is not saved and there is no way to recover it, as you must first verify the email which requires that password.

2. The ad for a paid subscription often covers up the button needed to complete an action.

3. Adding home charger locations may or may not actually work; the ones I added appear nowhere, and I find no place that lists them.

4. I got several network errors, so maybe they’re having server trouble.

5. Routing is ok, but once you add an intermediate station you can’t add others on the route, such as to top off your charge before entering a remote area or to indicate a backup charging location.

Does not show compatible Tesla super-chargers for Mustang Mach-e

I have a 2025 Mach-E. Tesla super-chargers that are compatible with the Mach-E have been the fastest most reliable way to charge on road trips in my experience. I can’t find the on Plugshare when filtering for a Mach-E. Unfortunately that means the app provides marginal value, I won’t use it until this issue is addressed.

Invaluable for EV road trips

This app makes road trips in an EV a joy; it takes just a few seconds to setup your trips; the information is reliable; I have been using this app for four years and it’s been a flawless experience.

It also integrates beautifully with Apple Maps and CarPlay to make your road trip experience easy and more enjoyable than in a gas car.

Trev

When you open it you shouldn’t just go to your location it should show multiple charging locations and distance…

wtf

I can’t get my 2023 Santa Fe to charge!and no help from establishment!!’ A casino!!!

Very nice

It’s very work easy app it’s complete information

It’s completely confusing to use this app

This is one of the better apps I would say, but the thing is all of the chargers that are on the network. They don’t have prices listed. They’re inside of dealerships where there a Tesla supercharger that doesn’t accept the non-Tesla chargers there’s nothing organized in this ev charging Network, you put in the filter you want slow, chargers or fast chargers it still is confusing and then the first thing that shows up as a map and then you have to change it into a list. It’s really confusing and then each one has its own membership there’s not one company that can just charge everything between blink and JOLT and Volta and shall recharge and Electrify America if you go and Ion and whatever else they have they really need to simplify this with one app.

Incorrect geography

PlugShare mislabels the Gulf of Mexico. If it can’t get this very basic fact right, I can’t trust any of its other geography.

False information

PlugShare unfortunately lists many chargers that physically exist but aren’t actually public-access chargers. Such as Los Angeles broadcast building

Works
