Terrible
Have been trying to connect for the longest time. It will connect, then say not connected, “cloud connected” your unit does not appear online. Horrible system, never connects to wifi even though it’s simply on the other side of the wall. Very frustrating, wish i could use a different wifi controller for my chlorsync.

Does not work.
Says connected to cloud but not online. Bought the heat pump for this feature and doesn’t work. Tried multiple times and with phone and tablet both give same issue.

PoolSync is the only app for my new pool heater wifi controller, and it is surprising how basic it is, only supports a couple of functions with very minimal details. Very frustrating given I just spent good money on a brand new pool heater with wifi controller technology purposely to control via the app from afar. Compared to the other pool apps out there, this one is extremely inferior. Needs a major upgrade.

Horrible
It doesn't stay connected to WiFi and I have excellent WiFi. Customer service is MIA. No response. When I try to set it up again it gets stuck in setup mode and it doesn't find the heater/chiller. Error 1012. Bad app and even worse customer service.
Borderline Useless App
Allows you to set temp and mode of heater. No temp history graph so you can have an education on how to adjust settings, no notifications when the heater won’t turn on because the sun is making it think it’s too hot. No integration of the relay contacts built into the heater so you can operate heating priority mode.

Still does not allow a space between words in the Wi-Fi password. Broken
Our Wi-Fi password is four words, each separated by a space. We have no problems using this for any other device.
When we try to put in the Wi-Fi password for PoolSync to connect to our Wi-Fi system, it will not let us put in a space between words. Using an underscore still does not fix the problem
We have not been able to use it for at least a year. Just a waste.

Used to work great
I’ve had this app for about a year. The first year it worked fantastic! Then a couple of weeks ago it disconnected from my pool heater and I can’t reconnect it. The error says it’s an issue with Apple and ISO but can the app do something for us Apple users? I love this app when it works!
Issues with inputting verification code
I’ve been trying to set up my account for two days for my new heat pump, and when the verification screen comes up to enter the code it does not allow me to type in. Appears to be a bug.
Glitchy app!
App doesn’t work all the time. Connecting to heater, goes in and out. Too many times must download and reinstall the app.

Latest update does not allow spaces in Wi-Fi password
This app routinely goes off-line. I will have to go out and hit the button to re-sync it. But now with this update, it won’t let me put in my Wi-Fi password. That is because my Wi-Fi password has spaces in it.

Worked very well for about 3 weeks, after that heater not found anymore. Reset, restart nothing worked. Needs much work and improvements!

Awesome!
This app is really top notch if you know how to use it. It doesn’t take much to figure it out even if you have limited knowledge. I have the full automation for the chlorine and acid to keep my water balanced as well as a spa with a few other features and it gives me control over all of it. I have the spa programmed to start warming up before I get home from work so it’s hot and ready right away. It’s so much easier than having to turn valves manually to start my spa or have to test my water and try to figure out how much chlorine or acid I needed to add myself. It has taken so much of that work out of my hands and I couldn’t be happier with it. Love, love, love it!!!

Not automation
This has to be the worst app of all time. Brand new pool with “automation”. Doesn’t stick to a schedule, nobody assists you, pool heater comes on randomly, not user friendly. There is nothing automatic about this automation. It’s a joke. Company should be ashamed to put out such a terrible app

Works about 5% of the time. Equipment constantly says “unit does not appear to be online”. Tried removing equipment and reinstalling (which took about 30 try’s with all the errors). Useless app
Unable to make schedule on the app
As a pool heater installer, I would greatly appreciate the ability to add or edit equipment through the app and create group schedules via the app.
So unreliable
You need to do some sort of voodoo dance to have any chance of it connecting. Once it does, it’ll probably disconnect a few days later and you have to do it again. I really wish they would test this properly and make the app more reliable.
