Poor customer service
By far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I was falsely issued a fine under my name, yet received no apology or compensation. My account was then suspended without any explanation, and instead of telling me the reason, they expected me to contact them to find out myself. Extremely unprofessional and treating long term customer like dog.

New app is trash
App is hot garbage. I can even see my area on the map, it refuses to scroll over a certain distance. What a disaster of an update
App ‘upgrade’ isn’t an upgrade
If you’re planning to sign up, I’d suggest also having a look at Flexicar and/or GoGet.
Popcar have changed not only their app, but their terms as well.
The minimum booking period is now 1hr (it used to be whatever time you wanted it for).
You can only book on the quarter hour (eg 8.15, 8.30, 8.45 etc). It used to be any minute you wanted.
Many of the cars are ‘under maintenance’ today (17 June 2026). Hopefully they sort them out soon so they can be booked.
The dots showing available cars are tiny - not a big deal but you’d think they could at least be bigger than the green dots showing tram stops.
I’m a long-tern user of Popcar - they were previously the best out there (by far).
However, with these new minimum booking periods and time restrictions, it’s a waiting game to see if this ‘upgraded app’ is any more than an excuse for increased revenue.
