I had a very bad experience with Dr. Virendra Choudhary (Orthopedic). The consultation call ended within a minute, and the doctor suggested a prescription without properly listening to my actual condition. If you are planning to get treatment through this app, you may want to think carefully before proceeding. I also used it for treatment, but my health issue was not resolved by the doctor. After taking the prescribed medicines, I experienced problems that I later described in my patient story.

Horrible app
Horrible money grubbing zero support app. It literally has zero customer support. There should be a better alternative.
Super bad
Practo is offering pathetic service. Package for 1 month or 1 year is just as bad as one can think. It hires low quality doctor. When you contact doctor, he is not even listen to your problem effectively. I felt like i am the one who is guiding the dr. instead of viceversa. Never ever use Practo or its package.

You make account deletion complicated
App crashes half the time. After making the payment I thought I will book an appointment an wait for doctor. No you have to keep me waiting for live connection.
Then doctor gets connected and says share reports I share everything and then he says he will read everything and says he will call in 45 minutes. He calls and asks what is the issue I told him the issue and then he says where are the reports I had to repeat 5 times I have uploaded everything as per your request including my medical profile.
It was so irritating to talk to the doctor who are not empathetic on what is actual problem of th patient and to suggest that go and consult an offline doctor.
Whatever is required I have already done it and have prepared everything so that he can read (as I am afraid I might miss some thing on call explanation) but no he does not read it even though he mentioned he will read.

Just do one favour please help me in deleting my Practo account as I never want to return.

The audio and the video call connection was not working
Firstly I wanted to chose a specific doctor from the list I was shown . Which worked differently after I made the payment. . I was assigned to a doctor on random basis from the list.
Secondly , when a doctor got assigned , and I was shown an option to chat with her , the chat option did not work . Unclear if the doctor did not respond to my chats or my messages did not go through.
Finally I got assigned to a different doctor available that time. Though I could chat with the doctor the video/audio calls option did work.
Tried reaching customer care to sort the issue and I realised that they did not work after 9 pm leaving me to sort out the issue by myself.
Finally after struggles at both end, the doctor was kind enough to share an alternate contact number on request where I could proceed with the consultation.
Thanks to the doctor who came out of his way to make this happen.

The only treatment & doctor that helped
I came to her for something challenging- genetic hairloss and other anemia related issues. And was skeptical if at all anything will actually help but i was too desperate and wanted to try. Her prescribed medicines turned out to be thankfully the only one that worked after trying endless things. To clarify, It didn’t help dramatically but definitely noticeably which itself is great for something genetic.
On doctors interaction front, she was quiet welcoming, supportive and simple to answer all queires. I have followed up with her for 3 months and will definitely stay in touch with her for future issues.

Never book a consultation on Practo if you don’t want to loose your money just like that. I booked a consultation for my sister on practo, the doctor was assigned, but the chat ended from the side of practo itself citing that doctor is not available. When i thought they would direct me to another doctor they are again asking me to pay a consultation fee. Mind you, we couldn’t even talk to the doctor for 1 second and the consultation was cancelled by practo. Now when i tried to use the help centre, it says consultation is ended and no refund would be provided to me.
Practo is thugging people blatantly. I won’t let this go that easily, i would file a case even if this is what needed to refund my money. I have all the proofs, screenshots and messages, timing everything.
But to get into such kind of problem is one thing, i urge everybody to avoid online consultation on such platform which has zero value for customer and want to take your money without providing service. Save yourself from scam

Dont use this site. They are a fraud they only take money and dont provide actual appointments. Best is they provide dakka gadi ( brakedown)
Extremely Poor Consultation Experience
Paid for a video consultation, but the doctor never answered the call. No video, no audio, no discussion. I shared all my reports and the doctor just prescribed medicines without any explanation. When I tried asking questions, he marked the consultation as complete and stopped responding.
This is unprofessional and unacceptable, especially for a paid medical service. Felt completely cheated. Practo needs better quality control over doctors on its platform.

No proper way to contact support . Assigns wrong doctor.
I wanted a gastroenterologist and chose and paid for one but I was assigned a physician. I tried contact support but there on only predefined questions and the chat doesn’t let you contact anyone
Worst Experience
I had an appointment at 11:00 on 25/12/2025. I had waited for 30 minutes and no one joined. In chat there will be a lot sending repeated messages but no use. They just steal money from us . I didn’t get any doctor appointment even though I paid money. No customer care for contact. No refund. Very fake stupid guys just for stealing money.

Poor experience with practo care plan
I am extremely disappointed with the Practo Care plan I purchased yesterday. My very first appointment turned out to be a frustrating experience. I booked a consultation with Dr. Harini P. Shetty at Ovum Hospital, Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru through the Practo app. However, upon reaching the hospital, the staff informed me that they no longer accept bookings from Practo, despite the appointment being available on the app.
After a prolonged argument of nearly 30 minutes, I was asked to pay ₹950 as a consultation fee, and only then was I allowed to see the doctor. This completely defeated the purpose of purchasing the ₹2400 membership. Adding to the frustration, there was no immediate or effective customer support available through the app—no direct phone number and no clear way to reach a support agent via chat.
Based on my poor first experience, I would strongly advise users to be cautious before purchasing this subscription.

Most biased and fake review system
Honest reviews are hidden, only positive reviews are surfaced for their paid clientele.
Rating system is the worst i have seen i have in any app and i build apps.
You can’t easily access your own reviews, if you want to access it will ask that it will delete old review without even seeing an opportunity to see it, then any truth you write about the doctor even when you can support with reports is hidden to protect the doctors. When you try to upload, it gets stuck there, no feedback if report is uploaded/ not uploaded with only option to cancel and you redo the entire process.. have done this 10 times over time.. the most biased, fake review system
