Bought a railcard but it was really difficult to download the card to the app. It took 2 hours by which time I was forced to pay full price for my ticket or miss

This e-card means not having ti carry a physical card, but why not have it stored in my e-wallet, rather than a separate app

Dreadful. Could not get my railcard up to show whilst on train. Photo now not showing and when I can pull up the card it will not allow me to screen shot it.

When I go to use my railcard it comes up saying error. It works if I have internet but I don’t have that at railway stations😡😡

If only the app knew when the network was bad
It is great to have the railcard in an app, however, if you open the app and check you railcard, it doesn’t mean the next time you open the app it will work. No. Get to Waterloo where there is a lot of network congestion it will freeze. Now I know, i am prepared, but all the devs need to do is present the railcard regardless, then check in the background for any changes.
Please consider updating the app so it is easy to present the railcard when the data network is available,but congested.

What a great app, from purchase to inclusion was seamless
Apple wallet
Please modify your app’s functionality and allow railcards to be uploaded into smartphone wallets. This will save a lot of time and frustration for both users and ticket inspectors.
Loading problems
Renewed two together card. Problems loading the code. Requested help. Expect a call back in 10 days! I’m travelling tomorrow. Thank you. Tried calling. Sat on hold for ages. Eventually I deleted the app and reinstalled it. That worked thankfully.

The app is confusing and there was no button to renew after I had filled in all my information.

Can’t view railcard without WiFi
Many ticket inspectors want to see your railcard (understandably). This app needs good mobile signal to be able to view the railcard and it won’t let you take a screenshot. It’s quite anxiety inducing!
No offline mode/ wallet support
Multiple times now I have been unable to access my rail card at a busy station due to poor connection. The app either needs to cache the railcard so that it can be used in poor network conditions, or it needs to allow users to add our rail cards to apple wallet.

Nice idea, but flawed
You cannot show the Digital Railcard to the Conductor if you don't have internet connection or data. The app will not allow you to keep a screenshot either. So I ended up paying Full Price! Also, once you buy a Digital Railcard, you cannot change to a paper card and you are stuck with it for 3 years. Never again! Can't wait to go back to proper paper cards and ditch this silly app.
