App does not work
App times out when trying to create an account or login. Its literally impossible to use lol

I’m disappointed
I’ve had this switch for a number of years and it worked without incident. I’ve updated my iPhone and now I haven’t had nothing but problems. It won’t connect. It won’t turn on my lights on my patio. I guess it had a good run. I have to get something else now.

It is time out when login to control my router rebooter . APP is useless now , so is my smart plug . I want refund for hardware
No longer works
“Time out” error on app when logging in & device is no longer responsive. I now have to go to my balcony & get behind the furniture to turn my lights on & off, useless.

It would have been a nice idea to tell customers that the company no longer is in business - all the equipment they sold is no longer working!!??

Sono oltre 48ore che l’applicazione non funziona, ho dotato questo sistema per avere una comodità sulla gestione di luci per gli acquari e riscaldamento dei miei rettili! Purtroppo se non si risolve la cosa non so più come dettare senza app i vari orari di spegnimento ed accensione! Vi chiedo gentilmente di poter risolvere, altrimenti sono solamente prese inutili! Tra l’altro non sono proprio le più a buon mercato…la grafica dell’app è carina ma migliorabile, per il resto andava tutto bene a mio modesto parere! C’è il necessario per quello a cui mi servono queste prese Smart

Cloud funktioniert nicht mehr.
Leider geht die Cloud und damit die App seit Wochen nicht mehr.
Used to work, now it doesn’t
I’ve had this for about two years and worked fine. Now suddenly it has a time out issue when I try to log in or do anything in the app. Meaning this light switch really only works if you use it like a normal light switch, completely defeating the purpose of it being a smart light switch. Unless they fix this I don’t recommend buying this light switch.

I try to go on app. It was showing gateway timeout. What happened?

Die App (über iPhone 12 und iOS 15) unterstützte mich im Alltag perfekt. Jetzt kann ich sie seit einigen Tagen nicht mehr verwenden. Ich soll mich anmelden, aber die Reaktion ist jedes Mal, dass eine Zeitüberschreitung vorläge. Bitte korrigieren.

Da una settimana all’incirca l’app non va più e la presa non viene più gestita da Alexa.. leggo su forum di molte persone che stanno riscontrando lo stesso problema. Spero si risolva al più presto altrimenti la mia presa intelligente verrà spedita nella spazzatura e ne sarei molto dispiaciuto

Errors
I downloaded this to operate an REC light dimmer switch. It’s a pain to set up; most wireless routers work with 5G, and this does not. Once I got it connected it worked for a while, then came constant issues with it disconnecting from wifi. Now, I can’t even log into the app because it gives the error message “request time out. Please try again.” I have tried resetting the whole system, deleting and reinstalling the app, creating a new account, etc. Now, it just works like a normal dimmer switch I operate by hand. Looks like they just pushed out an update with “bug fixes” too. Oh, and don’t bother with app support. There is none. You click on it and it opens up a blank tab. What a joke.

Applicazione con si collega più a niente di fa comandare solo alcuni dispositivi e si possono comandare solo sotto rete Wi-Fi e non più dall’esterno, hanno cancellato la skill di Alexa

Has been working fine for a few years now.
Make sure that you grant the app the required permissions during setup or it won’t complete the wifi setup; settings > privacy > permission to location and local network.
I always take off the permission to my location after setup (set to NEVER)…it’s the same for wifi cameras, wireless doorbell with camera, etc.

Ich wollte mich mit der Steckdose verbinden aber mir wird im,er angezeigt das keine Geräte gefunden wurden!Ich wollte bei deren Website nachgucken und sogar ta trat das Problem auf das die Seite nicht gefunden wurde!
Stopped linking
Have had 4 of these switches for years. Now suddenly they stopped linking to Alexa. I can switch them on and off with the Rec app but I can no longer switch them via Alexa.If you want to switch your lights on and off with Alexa, do not buy this device.
