Unsure business model
Lab work is drawn at third party labs, and then the results arrive in just enough time to not be able to cancel or object to the costs. Full blown “health” coaching is presented at $1449 per month - that’s behind my price range. However, if they are taking part time applicants please let me know.
Don’t waste your time
The app itself… meh. Full of annoying bugs.
I could live with those glitches. The program and coaches are the real problem and the reason for the one star review.
With the exception of the fitness coach, whom I liked, the nutrition and alcohol coach were unresponsive, didn’t listen, and not helpful at all. The first nutrition coach gave bad advice and then would not respond to my questions or messages at all, despite messages to her for nearly a week. I mean she gave ridiculously bad advice. And then she disappeared.
After a week they switched me to a different nutrition coach. I followed her plan despite my reservations as that plan did. It work for me in prior experience.
After I showed her my complete lack of progress towards my goals…going backwards actually (and that following that same protocol in the past had resulted in no progress for me), she proceeded to tell me my goals were unattainable and I should change my goals.
And she would not budge from her recommendations despite the overwhelming evidence I gave her that I’d tried that before and it did not work for me.
She made me feel Iike I was loser and took away all hope.
They promise they will connect the team and work together to achieve your goals. That was not my experience at all. Ultimately I forced the team to
talk. And I found there was disagreement in the team but that only surfaced after I forced them to talk.

I would give this app and program a negative star rating if I could.

I just get a white screen when I try to open the app
Cost is Predatory
$1,200/month. For that price, you could literally buy the most premium health insurance plan in the U.S., the kind that gives you access to actual medical care, licensed providers, diagnostic testing, and all specialists.
So when a wellness program with no medical providers and a disclaimer saying it doesn’t diagnose, treat, or give medical advice costs as much as top-tier insurance, it’s worth pausing and asking if the value really matches the price.
They advertise “precision health,” “expert analysis,” “unprecedented results,” “integrated medical intelligence,” and a team of “experts.” But their legal disclaimer says: this is not medicine and not medical advice.

I spent several minutes getting to the price, so putting it out there so others can decide if it’s worth their consideration.
Cost
Is this thing really $1300/month or is that a typo? Like I make a good income but that appears a bit egregious.
Teacher approved (barely affordable)
Expensive on teacher salary but stopped falling asleep grading papers

Actually works unlike every other app
I've tried Noom, Weight Watchers, MyFitnessPal, all of them. Ultra is different because the coaches can see EVERYTHING. No more explaining to my trainer why I'm tired when my sleep coach already briefed them. No more wondering why I'm hungry when my fitness coach already told nutrition about my morning workout. The real time thing is no joke - logged a candy bar at 3pm, got a message at 3:15 suggesting protein for dinner to balance it out. It's like having someone actually paying attention instead of just collecting data. 3 months in, best I've felt in years. Expensive yes but so is being unhealthy 🤷♀️
