If you are buying internationally this seller will not give you a choice on your shipping and send it by surface mail… it took 3 months for this guitar to arrive…the seller sent the guitar quickly and I believe this was a deceptive decision to ensure the sale… if I had known the method of delivery I would have cancelled the order…

Been a good experience so far
Have been assembling my rig from here for a while with good experience from the seller’s . Have not yet had a discrepancy so would be interesting to see how reverb would handle it . So far would recommend.
Buyer beware, scam alert
Reverb seems great on the surface, but use caution purchasing used items, because any seller can say anything they want about what they are selling, and Reverb just takes them at their word with no oversight, no verification process. I was sold a broken item that was listed as mint condition and fully functional. I reported it to the seller and the seller told me I had to pay to ship it back before I could be refunded. So I paid an extra $75 to ship it back, and he still did not refund it, he claimed that it was working fine. I tried to use Reverb’s buyer protection, and provided video documentation that the item was not functioning, and they still took the seller’s word for it, refusing to compensate me for the shipping cost. The seller has already reposted the item as “mint condition, fully functional”. So now I have no item, I STILL have not been refunded the original cost and I also sunk another $75 it cost to return and the resolutions team is simply ignoring my emails. I highly advise against using this app.

This is a great marketplace and thankfully hasn’t changed much since it sold. The search function is unhelpful and cannot handle the simplest spelling error. “Your Feed” rarely offers gear that appeals, leaving you to wonder if it’s just randomly barfing up listings.

Reverb.com doesn’t invest any money in their customer support and it leaves customers high and dry consequently
Might as well be the IRS
This company has gone to trash since they got bought out. They want you SSN # and a picture ID and heck yeah they gonna send a bill of sales to the IRS, so you can get taxed on something you already paid taxes on, but selling for a lower price. SCAM, REVERB SUCKS!!!!!!!

Great platform, clunky app
Many aspects of the app and website do not seem to work as well as they used to. Perhaps this is AI slop. Trem, the help bot (but surprise) is useless, and customer service used to be impeccable and now leaves quite a lot to be desired. Still an excellent place to buy and sell gear, but if they want to remain successful, they should rethink the issues mentioned here.
