App crashes when trying to create a Connect account.

One of the selling points to upgrading my bed was that it works with Alexa. But in order to do that, you have to sign up through the app for Reverie Connect. But every time I try, the app crashes and won’t save my info. Really frustrated right now because I hate having to grab my phone every time I want to adjust my bed. I want to use Alexa!!
