User reviews

No longer reliable

I used to be able to actually have sole faith in Humboldt’s Dial-A-Ride system, now it brings doubt and dread. The app made a bit raised, but Flex Ride ruined any chance of stability or reliability of Dial-A-Ride. You can no longer book out as much as you used to, rides are almost never available. The rides you do get will pick you up 10-15 late sometimes.

An exceptional service!

I don’t know what I’d do without the Flex program from Humboldt Transit. The schedule-ahead capability and reasonable price makes this an outstanding service for our community. Thanks, HTA!

Map Feature

The map routing feature is totally useless. It won’t even attempt to tell me when my desired ride might be available if ever. You need a separate bus route map to use this app properly because there’s no info on where to go. Why doesn’t the app show this info?

Kudos!

I have to give this team a round of applause! Seeing past drivers from a previous company brings back good memories of them driving me to my destinations and meeting with the new team since I am back at needing DIal-A-Ride. Everyone has been wonderful, especially with their positive attitude and smiles. Thanks for all you do!

Also, I appreciate the app that helps me plan my future rides and for the information that the app provides.

Confusing and unreliable

Not sure where to start, but Dial-A-Ride was way better before this app was made. Scheduling a ride is confusing and frustrating. Not only that, but all my revolving scheduled rides were messed when the app was released. It takes ten minutes of changing and checking times to book a ride. You can’t say when you want to get dropped off, you have to go and check what ride pickups will get you to where you’re going and hope there’s one at a close enough time. Then you have to hope you actually can get to your appointment on time when they do pick you up. There’s also been times I’ve had to cut appointments short because Dial-A-Ride was almost 20 minutes early.
