Makes no sense

No times, hard to navigate

Trash service

This 62 bus never comes on Friday at 8:13 or 9:12 it’s a shame people can’t even rely on public transportation

Dependility

Waiting for 48 at St. Peter, ePss says it is due now. It’s still going from Camp to wharf. No adherence to schedule. Why even bother?

The #12 streetcar

The wait for busses servicing the #12 is unreasonable

New Orleans Trip

I have been to New Orleans on a regular bases. It was so easy to use. Downloaded this app and it was a lifesaver. Saved us so much money on Uber/Lyft fees. $3 a day, and my hubby only had to pay .30 a day. 65 and older. Will definitely will use it again when I return to New Orleans.

Do not ride

The streetcars were never on time and there were always problems. You could never use the RTA to get anywhere on time. I don’t recommend it.

Poor service

How come there is only 1 62-O on the line and I’ve been at this bus stop for an hr waiting and 2 have went off the line?regular 62 before switching over to the OWL)I’ve seen at least (3)61 pass in front this stop of basin and St Louis… this is ridiculous! Do better!

Worst public transportation system in any city

NEED this.

You will need this app to get around. Busses have tap symbol but for some reason can only accept this or cash like it’s the 1800s.

Regret putting my trust in you

I brought my son to Nola to see the Tulane campus and tried to pick up the 46 at Loyola and Howard. We were trying to get the 245pm and the driver clearly saw us running up to the door and completely bailed on us bc I guess he/she couldn’t stay stoped for 15 additional seconds. So we waited 30 minutes for the next one in the absurd heat. The next trolley arrived and the driver asked us where we were going and we said “Tulane university” he said “what?!” So I repeated “TULANE” and he said “you’re going the wrong way. The trolley to Tulane is there” and pointed across the street. Totally defeated, we went across the street and had to wait an additional 20 minutes. My son was angry with me to say the least. His face was purple from the heat and I was legit crying.
So the stupid thing finally shows up and we’re on it for twenty minutes and it stops and the driver says “end of the line. Everyone off”
So now we’re stranded in 100 degree heat with no idea where we are. Come to find out we went the wrong way thanks to your jerk of a driver that decided to involve himself. I knew my gps said I was going the wrong way but who wouldn’t trust the PROFESSIONAL DRIVER OF YOUR VEHICLE.
So we lost two hours and I had to then pay 35 dollars for an uber and we missed the opportunity to visit the bookstore bc it was closed at that point and we were EXHAUSTED from the extreme heat. My son is completely turned off from this school now. So thanks for that.

times?

the times on here never match up to when the driver arrives or at the end of the line leaves.

Beware non-US citizens

This should have been easy. As part of the registration process you need to put in your non US phone number. I had an issue with my phone receiving the RTA confirmation texts. By the time it was sorted out, too many texts had been sent (4) as a consequence of which I had to wait 24 hours to re-register, by which time it was too late. Email registration would have worked better.

Live location and time

Live location almost never works and times are always wrong I always end up places late even when Lea an hour early

Never showed up

Your train never showed up it keeps changing the time an hour out here waiting in this helllhole heat

Get the App!

The app is easy to get, and easier to use!

Not accurate

We purchased our pass before arriving today. No time during the purchase we told the trolley was not running. Instead of using the trolley we had pay for from Amtrak to French Quarter we had to get an Uber. We almost missed our return train because the app was not providing accurate information about trolley times and status. We ended up having to get an Uber to make it on times. Will never use this app again.

amazing

so helpful

no other option.

you only use rta because you NEED to, i have to use a seperate app usually to cross examine not only if the actual location of the stop is correct, as the in app map is very non functional and will often drop me MILES from where i need to be- but also the TIME the bus gets there, because the app is USUALLY wrong. way too often MY HEALTH has been put at risk because i am TOO POOR to own a car and can ONLY rely on public transport unless i want to walk, and i have work and doctors appointments to go to. usually i prefer to walk, as it will be FASTER than waiting another HOUR for these drivers to decide to do their job. horrible service.

Jazzy Pass & Amtrak Combo

Came to NOLA via the Amtrak Mardi Gras service from Gulfport. The Jazzy day pass is must! It made getting around the city and back to the train station so easy! For $3 you cannot beat that! Even in the pouring rain it was easy! We will do this every time!
