Exceptionally good
Almost any service you need while living in Sacramento is available via this app.
It works well
While the app is a little clunky the service and the responses I’ve received from my requests/complaints have been impressive. Illegally parked cars, junk on the street, homeless problems, etc. have been addressed, oftentimes quickly. Thank you City of Sac.
Crashes
I’ve been using this app for a long time and it was good until now. The app crashes when I try to upload a photo in iOS 17. Tried deleting and reinstalling but that didn’t work.

Keeps crashing
Won’t let me request service after entering an intersection location.
Unhelpful-PLEASE FIX!
Hey guys, your app is crashing at the request details page! Please fix! I need to report something and not having 311 available is really unhelpful.
App crashes
When trying to use a drop down menu or add photos. App crashes. Not useable.
Doesn’t work anymore
This app used to function when making a 311 report, even if it was a bit complicated to find the category you’re looking for. Now it exclusively gives a “Error! Some error occurred in Service creation” message when I try to submit a report. It gives no indication of what may be causing the error. I fill out every field and try different report types. Nothing works.

Puts enforcement requesters in danger
By making my enforcement requests public you are putting me at risk. Despite the fact that I have no other option because the city has quite literally backed my address into a corner, I am supposed to either be stuck in my house from people who don’t care about me or my family, or risk a request which puts my address out there and places a target on me and my family. This is absolutely ridiculous and is quickly making me despise the city that I’ve lived in for decades.

Sac City 311 App Review Comments
This requires too many touches and screens to use efficiently in the field. Also, the important is written light grey letters rather than black which is easier to read.
It also no longer allows the user to enter an intersection, i.e. 19 & J streets and does not accept a pin drop or GPS Coordinates.
It demands a street address or a park name. But not pin drop showing the precise location in the Park. User needs to type in detailed description of location or be sure to take multiple photos- closeups for details and landscape to show location.

People of Sacramento, don’t download
Shame this app is junk. I have installed and uninstalled numerous times and still after email verification the app does not let me sign in. Something about Salesforce can not verify my email. Of course app support sends you to their website that has no direction to tech support for the app. Over it and uninstalled. We live in Nor Cal, some of the worlds best tech developers, and this is what we get for Cali’s Capital City,Undeveloped subpar software.

If you’re not a business don’t waste your time.
App appears to be for business only. No longer css as n a request be made unless you are registered as a business.
Useless app and incompetent support staff
Submitted a request and ticket was closed with no reason or action. The ticket did not reflect the complete request submitted and call center is incompetent in addressing the issue. Taxpayer money being corrupted at its best!

Another example of trying to fix something that was not broken
The original 311 app might not have been perfect but it was very useful and easy to use. I had not used the app for a few months and was saddened to see that it had been replaced with one that appears to have been created for the ease of developers instead of users. Another example of making an app less user friendly while trying to fix something that was not broken.

There’s No point using this
While the redesign of the app is terrific it is useless. I can’t see any of my requests for pickup & in the process didn’t cancel an appointment in enough time & I lost 1 of my Curbside pickups. You are better off just going online through a web browser. They have tech support and I’ve reported my loss of functionality but I’ve yet heard any response to a fix.

Update looks good, removes useful feature
The update looks good, but it moves the most useful feature for me out of the app to a website. I used the app most weeks to check if it was recycling pickup time or not. Now that feature is a link that takes you to the city website instead of showing the info in the app.
Not working
Your new app is not working. It loads slowly until I get to the address/map page & then goes blank. I have deleted the app & reinstalled but still is not working.

Just installed it, lots of really useful resources and information!
Unusable app due to poor design
I can’t submit issues using this app because I’m not able to select the last required field on the forms—it is covered by the keyboard and there’s no way to move to it. I also get “technical problems” that prevent submissions through the app and require them to be emailed. Overall, such a very simple app that is so terribly implemented.

Issue since iOS 13 update
I’ve used this app several time to submit various issues/SRs (Service Requests).
I just used the app to report a car parked in front of our house blocking our driveway. The experience was fine until I reached the “Describe Issue” field. At that point, the keyboard blocks the entire text box and the screen can not be moved up to make text entry possible. I switched to another app to text out my issue and copy it all. I switched back to this app to paste in my text... and that didn’t work either!
