Yes, sallie mae allows students to go to college who can’t afford to pay up front. Yes, Sallie Mae is also a predatory company that takes advantage of KIDS & parents who just want a bright future. Both are true. I have a 14% interest rate on a $100k student loan. I’ve been paying $1400 a month for several years now. Doing my best hardly does anything. Do the math. How is this just. I pray to God I get through this.

Customer Service Was HORRIBLE
I’ve noticed anytime someone who sounds like they’re a certain…ethnicity answers the phone, that they are extremely argumentative and have no knowledge outside of their basic script. They’re also unwilling to transfer me to a supervisor when they didn’t know what to do. It really enforces bad stereotypes. Every. Single. Time.

New Update makes app unusable for older iOS systems
The newest update now makes this app no longer functional with any iphone that’s an iphone x or older.
Prohibited Access
There’s a bug that needs to be fixed for the app. I keep getting logged out. Yes it’s still my responsibility to remember to pay on time but if I’m trying to have notifications set to be sent to my phone as reminders, it’s not going to happen if I keep getting logged out.
The interest rates
The rates for a paid in advance payee are ridicules. Every week I receive a refinance application from an outside source and the government backed Sallie Mae loan is substantially higher rate.

This app is constantly updating it’s ridiculous. Nothing so significant to constantly change this app. If you get you password wrong twice good luck getting in, now you’ll have to call customer service

This company’s interest rate is through the roof and the app before they made these changes was way better than what you have to do now.. now you log in and it will log you out if you’re not on the app for like a minute or two overall ridiculous.
Can’t access app. (Update)
Opening the app it tells me there is an update and and can’t proceed. When you follow the link it takes you to the App Store where it says it’s already up to date. Can’t even log in.

App always has some continuous issue, each update gets worse, they need a new web developer that actually knows how to fix bugs. I only use the website because it doesn’t act up like the app. I have experience in front and back end web development and its basic troubleshoot bugs, the developer needs replacement. Sorry not sorry, can’t even log in on the app for this new update 😫!

I changed that payment in June 2026 to In Touch …9932. You switched it to the other account WF. Keep it with In Touch as I said!!!!! No wonder you didn’t get paid!!!!
