Inconvenient to use

I’d rather lose the rewards and just buy tickets from Fandango. No apple pay, no apple wallet integration, no easy way to see seats at multiple times, and glitchy to top it off.

App can’t connect

Is it just me or does the app not connect and every time I try to go to a new page, it says service unavailable

Awful app update

As previous reviews mention:

Only able to see 1 showtime per theatre, can’t look at several theatres for same movie.

Can’t even open the app due to the most recent bugs.

Terrible app update

I love Santikos and frequent their theaters. But the app update is terrible. Very poor choice for the developers to only allow you to view showtimes at ONE theater at a time. One of the great things about Santikos is having 5 locations near my house - This gives me plenty of showtime options. But the new app makes it impossible to search showtimes across multiple theaters without painstakingly searching showtimes at each theater individually. It’s hard to believe this change made it to production.

Down app

Update 1/20/2026: Still a horrible app. Won’t even let me continue as guest “Authentication failed”. Can’t see movies or anything. Just a sign in that always logs you out.

If you forget about rewards it’s too late

What kind of app these days doesn’t have a feature for entering your ticket number if you forget to show your code when buying a ticket. This one!!

Bug- Single seat gap

The requirement to not leave single seat gaps is fine, but the bug is with aisle purchases. A single seat will be left no matter what with an aisle purchase, but the software still prevents the purchase. Ex.- seat 4 is purchased by client A. Client B desires seats 1 and 2. The software prevents this purchase because of the gap rule. However, a purchase of 2 and 3 results in seat 1 being a single seat. (This is true for any number of seats client B wishes to purchase up to the gap, not just two.) This bug results in poor UX at the theater. A preferred aisle sitter usually knows they get up more during the movie. The single forced to purchase seat 1 has to deal with Client B getting up frequently.

Apple Wallet not supported?

Movie theaters should be able to work Apple Wallet integration into their apps so that we have the option to open the tickets right away from the Apple Wallet app. This is crucial because the movie theater I visit from time to time is notorious to have extremely bad cellular service and if I forget to screenshot the ticket for that specific movie theater, I am going to have a VERY difficult time getting back into the Santikos app to recover the movie ticket within the app itself. I believe what should be done is to have the option to add our tickets to Apple Wallet once the transaction for purchasing the movie ticket is completed. If Santikos mobile app developers can actually integrate that feature, I would have no complaints about the app and bring my rating back to 5 stars.

Can’t login

With this new update the continue as a guest is right on top of the sign in button so I can’t login . Always goes to guest.

Won’t let me log in

Terrible app. It lists the blue hyper link of guest on top of the sign in log on . I put my information in and every time I try to log in it keeps going to guest

Not so great update

I don’t like that you can only view 1 theater at a time. It’s also glitching and not letting me use the app at all since last week so it makes it difficult to buy tickets.

Horrible Updated App

The new updated app is horrible. Hard to use and very restricting.

Broken

For whatever reason, this specific app NEVER works for me. It’s always having an issue connecting to the server and takes forever to load. I don’t ever have any issue with any other apps other than this one.

Good app

Great app for buying movie tickets. Easy to navigate. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is there doesn’t seem to be a way to move your tickets to Apple wallet. If that becomes available, I’ll happily give it 5 stars.

Can’t see Rewards points

Not sure what’s going on with the app but I cannot see anything about my rewards. I’ve tried looking everywhere in the app. I have to go to the actual website and login there to see my rewards. Defeats the purpose of the app! Also there is 4 notifications on the app icon that I cannot seem to clear. I have looked on every tab to find it and clear them but no matter what I do it does not clear it. Please fix!

Terrible update

You can view and buy tickets. But this new app UI is terrible compared to the old app. As someone who likes to browse all available movies at all theaters in my area, this makes is almost impossible. Now, you can only search individually by theater and then click on each movie individually to see times. Clicking the movies icon only gives Now Playing and it makes you hunt down the Coming Soon movies in a scroll on the homepage. The functionality of this app now is heinous to use and it’s easier to search in the Atom and Fandango apps now then try to navigate Santikos’ own app.

App not working

When I try to log into app at the bottom where the sign in button is located, the blue hyperlink is right on top of it that says continue to guest services. I have tried numerous times to log onto my account & I can’t. It just keeps taking me back to guest screen!

Blocked by iCloud Private Relay

The app does not find the server when you try to log in if you have Private Relay turned on. I just tested it out. Santikos Dev/Engineering team, can yall reach out to Apple please to confirm and correct this? Many thanks!
