Slow and stupid
Add a receipt, smart enough to scan the receipt for information but then always saved the expense as no receipt provided. Unable to figure out how to claim mileage on the app, had to use the website

Anyone who remembers the pain of paper based expense claims knows that this app is an absolute life changer: fat wallets bulging with disintegrating receipts, mislaid receipts, receipts blown away in by a sudden gust of wind, that spike on your desk that you can’t face dealing with.

It only gets worse every year
Why does it take four years to scan each receipt just to mark them all ‘pending transactions’? Every year the expense feature gets less accurate and takes longer. The app is awful for any of the actual travel features.
Unbelievably bad!
ExpenseIt, great! Everything else, truly awful! The mobile app is painful to use and it’s not hard to waste hours of time completing one report. Expenses are added to claims with unpopulated fields, generating nonspecific error messages, and requiring manual filling when you eventually locate the empty fields in individual expenses. No help or feedback channel within the app. Not even a glossary for the many fields, some of which are barely comprehensible. I was sickened seeing a cringe SAP Concur advert appear in a taxi just as I was struggling to add expenses to my claim. Maybe if they redirected their marketing budget to product development and customer service, they might have something worth buying.

Slow and not usable
We use this app and it’s slow, difficult to use and things like favourite projects or recent projects don’t work. Menus frequently don’t open and the screen just locks. I can’t create a new claim form on the app.
In general I’ve found this one of the worst expense systems I’ve ever had to use. Little things like when you upload a receipt you also have to select the down to say you have. If you don’t it tells you off because it knows you have. It also doesn’t OCR receipts and unlike some alternatives you can’t forward your receipts to it via email. All in all a very poor app and a very poor product.

Slow
Way too complicated, the online support is rubbish and calling up only takes you back to online support. Can’t I have a person to talk to about my issues I’m having?
Painfully slow and information not added correctly
The app is incredibly slow to use, pages take a long time to load. And everything has to be duplicated; details you add to an expense are not correctly carried over when you add it to a claim, meaning you have to manually enter everything again.

Hangs forever on receipt upload
Hangs for hours on receipt upload and there is nothing you can do when this is happening. Restarting app, phone or signing off doesn’t help. Poor design and lack of testing are obvious
Missing Camera for receipt capture.
Latest update has made app unusable for core function of receipt capture while traveling.
Garbage
App is a piece of garbage. I just updated it and it still says I need to update. Thats just one example. I would say if it works 30% of the time, that’s generous. But I have no choice because it’s the only option I have for work.
Missing Amtrak
Annoying to have to go to the web on a laptop to make a change or book Amtrak.
Business travel
I enjoy this app for the most part. My only complaint is I’ve captured receipts and they didn’t transfer to my Concur’s report.

Utter junk now. Pretty sure a core point of having an expenses app is being able to easily attach receipts, this is no longer the case.

Has added the worst AI features imaginable. You can’t even send it a receipt now without having it create some nonsense claim. A disaster.

It’s always something
App shuts down, I have to resign in for each expense. Every month, there’s a different t issue with this thing. I hate this app more and more every day
DROP AI
I used to think this app was decent until every expense report was sent back because it’s too stupid to understand comments left by you or tips on receipts
Horribly glitchy
Doesn’t always show expenses. Expense disappear before you can submit them. Reports don’t update properly and still show pending after they’re approved. App used to be ok but for the last year it has been ridiculously frustrating.

Now with this recent update, when I attach a receipt to the expense, the entire expense disappears…When will there be a fix for this?
