You have to manually add your half fare pass
Bought half fare pass with my associated account on desktop, logged in to app and bought tickets only to find I had to ALSO manually edit my passenger details in order to get the discountedrates…. Hire a consultant to connect your databases. Utterly pathetic.
Took 30 min to login
Truly one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. I logged in a million times in the pop up window but then in the app it continued to say I still needed to login. Wouldn’t let me login without setting up passkey. If I clicked skip this step the whole login would get aborted and I would have to start over. Horrible experience

Nothing works
Trying to plan our trip to Switzerland and all the resources online point to downloading the app and buying a Swiss Travel Pass through the app but nothing seems to be working. Constant bugs and errors with cryptic error messages. I had to verify my identity by uploading a picture of my passport and then nothing happened. Everything is unclear. How is there only 9 reviews and they are all negative? Something is seriously wrong, feels like the app was made by a devshop in India for very cheap or something.

Worst trains in Europe
Hilarious how much this company charges for tickets when their track layouts are so screechy you literally have to block your ears when they arrive, the AC is constantly not working in the middle of summer and the WiFi is completely unusable (though they still have the gall to ask for your mobile number to verify their useless 6 mb/s internet). The best way to describe the experience is stingy

Almost too good to be true
We travelled all around Switzerland through various cities and countryside. The app was reliable, easy to use with planning and payments. We truly enjoyed navigating around the beautiful country with the wonderful public transport.
App UI is confusing
The SBB app looks better than many government transport apps, but the UX is still confusing. Important details like platforms and departure times are harder to find after buying a ticket, even though they are clear before booking. The app also lacks clear navigation and feels cluttered when managing tickets or routes. The app also feels super engineered, with too many layers and features making simple tasks more complicated than they need to be. SBB should improve the UX and UI to make the app simpler and easier to use.

I am trying to add my Visa card . It’s always shows error
App is Horrible!
Good for planning, terrible for purchasing. Refused repeatedly to accept a Visa card or Apple Pay to purchase transportation tickets. Technical support is nonexistent.

Make “cancellations” clearer
We’ve been trying to use the app while there have been “cancellations” leading us to use different routes and panicking about buying the right tickets. When the app lists a cancellation it doesn’t mean you can’t get there, it means there is a rail replacement bus. So not cancelled. We didn’t know this and thought we had to take a stupid route to get to our destination and buy mulptipke different tickets for buses, trams and trains. PLEASE make it clear when a cancellation means a bus will be taking you rather than it actually being cancelled.

Can’t purchase tickets
Decent app to make reservations but it won’t allow international credit cards apparently. Even through Apple Pay it doesn’t work with my US credit card. It just gives a generic error that it couldn’t charge the card. I’ve traveled all over Europe using this same card and this is the only app/website that gives me problems. I’ve tried at least a dozen times. I tried many months ago and then again today. Sad
