I love this card

This is one if the easiest prepaid card companies to deal with they are always a helpful and I. Your side no extra fees and are easy to contact. And app has a feature that lets you view your balance without having to sign all the way on. Way better than net spend or other prepaid cards

THIS IS NOT A GIFT CARD

Just get the Visa or Mastercard gift cards. Although the $1.95 price is enticing compared to the $5.95 and $7.95 fee for other gift cards don’t fall for it. This is a reloadable debit card. They take cash only and you will have to provide SSN information and you will be charged a monthly $5 maintenance fee. You are also unable to close the account unless you have a $0 balance. I just wasted $20.

I didn’t confirm any information and threw away the card so that is why I wasted $20. Do not charge me for the maintenance fee.

In addition to cash, Scarlet Bank Account offers multiple ways to load money. You may set up Direct Deposit into your account or receive ACH transactions, deposit a check into your account through our mobile app, or receive money from another Scarlet Bank Account accountholder. You may also add money from your checking or savings account by initiating a transfer from your bank account into your Scarlet Bank Account. For eligibility and transfer timing information, please consult your bank once you have initiated the transfer. If you have need assistance withdrawing your remaining balance and closing your account, please contact customer care at 1.833.707.3783.

Great Banking Account Online

I’ve been using my Scarlet account for about two years now. I love being able to take a quick trip to my local Walgreens and deposit money free. I have two issues. 1: That is that it does take about 10 minutes to go into my account but that is not the worst thing in the world. 2: it is not accepted on every online payment platform. Other than those two problems I genuinely enjoy using Scarlet. Customer service is pretty good. As long as I can understand them and they understand me. Thank you for having this option for people needing a bank account, but aren’t able to open one at some local banks.

Can’t do what I did yesterday

I can’t use my card to buy bitcoin like I did yesterday, and I paid to put money on the cars and now they want to say wait to get your card to do this, wrong close my account

Scarlet pre pie debit card

I use this account as a primary normally don’t have any issues, customer supports been great. Sometimes the app has issues and you have to wait a minute to log on and I’m not a fan of how long it takes for money to load on the account. Normally after adding cash I see it in my account within 30 minutes. I will say though some stores will not accept the scarlet card but it doesn’t happen often. I’m in between a 3-4 star rating.

Horrible

This is a horrible card/ account…. If you need a bank account there are so many better options out there to look into. Checkout Chime, Varo, dave…. If used at a hotel or car rental the company holds an additional 20% on their own and not the establishment that you are purchasing the seevice from but scarlet card…. crazy!
