Bait and switch
You can only use your program once, then you have to create it from scratch or pay $8. A developer deserves compensation but $8 is far too dear for what amounts to the essential functionality of an ostensibly free app.
Music to train by
Best app for setting music to each interval of my workout.
Not intuitive and no instructions
I have had this app for YEARS. I can figure out a custom timer but when I know I’m doing a Tabata style workout (which they give you an option for!) it doesn’t make any sense how to set it up or why it should require this much figuring out if I have specifically toggled “Tabata style” on… after years of frustration figuring this out I think I’m looking for something else. I don’t use it often but when I pick it up I don’t want to have to mess around for this long trying to figure things out

Great timer app
Does everything you’ll want to. Has a good and simple UI. Timers are very customisable.
Buy it. Go into debt if you have to.

What you need simple and easy
Great timer, easy to use worth the price and versatile uses in a range of different workouts, walks, cycles ect very useful.
Challenging to troubleshoot. Often does not sync. Currently not syncing at all for me
I use this app to teach Pilates classes. The app is really unreliable when you need to update timers. Extremely frustrating. Now it is the worst it’s ever been. I resynced my whole watch to fix this and now I have no timers and the app will not sync to my phone at all anymore. I cannot emphasize enough that I have tried everything to sync it. It won’t sync. So now, I’ve paid for an app that will no longer work. I hope I can fix it because I don’t want to have to pay for another app nor do I want to re input all my routines, but I think I’m at that point now.

Syncing a timer on Apple Watch
I have a timer on my iPhone app that isn’t appearing on my Apple Watch. How do I sync it to appear on my watch?
Really useful for different length intervals!
This timer is really useful if you have intervals of different lengths, e.g. one exercise for 1min, followed by another exercise for 2mins, then a rest period of 30s etc.
would love the ability to copy/repeat sections, rather than having to set up each repeat manually, but this timer app is so useful!

Free version is useless.
Free version is useless and just barely works enough to try to get you to buy the full version. But very difficult to evaluate from the free version.
Seconds count
Every second counts
Great for workout
Love that I can set it up and it tells me what’s next when to rest
Great fitness tool
Such a practical and user-friendly tool. I can create and do my own workouts without the bother of figuring out the length or counting . Seconds take the math 😉out of working out.
Can’t add complication on Apple Watch
Trying to have it on my screen but doesn’t allow me to add it as complication
Cainetapper
Preparation timer and countdown timer on Apple Watch still not working this issue has been around since updating to iOS 26 and as a blind user I use my watch a lot in the gym as it makes my life a lot simpler. To use this app, I have to carry my phone about which sort of deletes the need of having the Apple Watch app. The Apple Watch complication still does not work.

synching
Love the functionality of the app, but would not have purchased Pro version if I had known that synching between devices is not possible!
Best timer app ever
I’ve been using this app for 8+ years. Love it. Easy to program and fit workouts
John
Becoming impossible to sync with Apple Watch. Have used it for years but now have to switch to something that will work and sync with my watch. A great pity.
Seconds Fan
The ability to add verbal commands is quite helpful for more complicated workouts like the Total Gym. Seeing the description of each set allows me to transition to the next set more rapidly.
Perfect for coaching 12U workouts
Best bang for $ if you’re serious about designing custom work outs. The text to voice with warning is my go to setting. A wish for the developers is a gentler less mechanical voice selections.
Literally perfect
Bought this a million years ago when it first came out. Have been using it ever since. Perfection in every way.
