Love this app!

I started using this app about 10 years ago. I like the way it lays out the hike in distance, as well as elevation, change and views. I recommend it to anybody who’s going hiking in Sedona.

Great Sedona Hikes!

Recently visited Sedona and this app helped us find the right hikes for us. The app provided level of difficulty, duration and detailed descriptions of views. The live tracking kept us on the trails and helped us decide directions when trails would split. Worked perfectly!!

Get this app!

If you are hiking in Sedona this is the app to get. It is well worth the price. The inventory of hikes is impressive. The breadcrumb feature puts the app over the top. While trails have signs it is amazingly easy to lose your bearings. (Do we go left or right!?). A quick check of the breadcrumbed map will keep you from having to backtrack. This app has a “labor of love” feel to it given the work that has gone into it. Get the app and go explore!

Ahh, "Labor of Love". You nailed it. That's why we created the app 10+ years ago. We hiked Sedona for a couple years before making the app. We (family and friends) actually hiked every single trail in the app to make sure we got it right.. We love Sedona and are happy we can make exploring all the Sedona trails have to offer. The breadcrumbs do come in handy and thanks for using the feature and the app!

Just did 5 days of hiking in Sedona.
This app is amazing! Perfect app for tracking and monitoring hikes. The rating in the hiked trails is great for picking the best hikes for your capabilities, at 68 years old it was perfectly fine for our planning dates for hikes and sites. The shuttle to some hikes is a good add. Get a printed one to know when and where! Maybe the developer can add that as a resource. 😊

Hey Bayou Bear! Thanks for the warm review. We are so glad you enjoyed and found our app helpful. I've talked to some of the free-lance (but licensed) shuttle operators and they might change often. But the Sedona shuttle may be stable enough to add something to the app. We'll look into that, thanks for the suggestion!

Absolutely TERRIFIC!

We’re in Sedona right now and this app is The Best! Have already used it for a couple of hikes, and it does everything it’s supposed to do. I particularly like the map to the trailhead, and the GPS function. The latter is a godsend; today we weren’t paying attention and took a wrong trail, and wondered why it was so long. Wrong trail!… and the GPS showed exactly where we were. This app is cheap at twice the price, don’t go hiking in Sedona without it!

Terrible interface

Don't waste your money on this app. Terrible interface. Difficult to figure hikes out. Get All Trails instead.

Well worth it

There are so many trails around Sedona and so many map sources. This tool was so easy to find a bike, read about it, select a level of difficulty, and to follow progress on the trail. If you will be hiking in Sedona you need this app.

This app is wonderful. I love knowing exactly where I am on the map, and exactly how far away a given place is. The fact that you don’t need web access to use it is all the more reason to use it.

Horrible!!! Don’t waste your money!

This is a junky app! No photos, no map images, just crappy directions that you could do better with on your phone maps or yelp! I’m out $5 bucks so you don’t have to be. I think this guy is paying friends to post fake good reviews. There is no way anyone would use this!!

We get one of these every couple of years. This is not a review of the app on the merits of the app. This is a frustration with a different issue. Sedona can sometime be a victim of it's own success with overcrowding and traffic problems. We can sometimes get the blame for these problems. For the record, every trail has a map, pictures, directions and descriptions, Every trail without exception. This wasn't in any way a review of the app, they didn't use the app, this was venting at something else. The fact that they attack us personally says something as well. "There is no way anyone would use this", “paying for good reviews”, "junky app". We have been in the store 8 years, thousands of users and a great reputation. We occasionally get crank reviews from somebody with an axe to grind. This kind of thing does damage to the app store as a whole and us as an app store app vendor.

Sedona trail maps

This is a great app for checking out all the trails in Sedona. We visit once a year and love it. We use this app to prepare for our hikes.

I HIGHLY recommend this great hiking app

This app is awesome for helping you track yourself against the trail, especially when the trail is not well-marked. The price-tag was well worth it, even for just my annual trip to Sedona. I highly recommend this app to read up on the various hikes you are considering doing. It has good detail on each of the hikes so you can see what the trail is about to determine if you want to take that hike.

A must have for visitors to Sedona

With a few days in Sedona, I really wanted to do some hiking and see the sights. The problem is that there are an overwhelming number of trails to choose from. This app makes it easy to find a hike that fits anyone’s skill level and goes to the places that you want to go. I got way more than $5 worth of fun out of the app.

Didn’t work

We were just in Sedona, we could not get the real time tracking of the trail to work. We hiked cathedral, chapel and bell rock and none of those trails functioned properly. The concept of this app is great. Would have given 5 stars if it worked properly.

GPS feature keeps you on the trail

The Show My Location feature of this app is great and helps you to stay on the trail when the trail is not obvious. I think that many people don’t make it to the end of Brins Mesa (IMO one of the best hikes in Sedona) because it isn’t clear on the trail that there is more to the hike. This app will guide your way.

Great App!

There are so many awesome trails in Sedona and this app made the hiking experience great. Information on trails and driving directions are super helpful. Being able to GPS your location is very cool.

Handy App, even for short trip

Was in Sedona for a week. Loved that driving directions included written description as well as link to driving app with GPS coordinates as destination. On the trail we wandered twice and app helped me get back to my intended hike. Also helped us know when I reached the end of my hike. Not always clear on trail. Thanks developer(s)!
