Frustrated
Your advertisement made it seem pretty simple. On the contrary, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a product. They were not enough lance sets in the kit, so I had to go buy more. The questionnaire was incredibly tedious and not user-friendly. I called several times, but no one could pinpoint what was missing until yesterday when I got a person with a brain. I will never recommend this to anyone.

Don’t bother
Viome is a joke. They lost my samples. It takes weeks to get it done. Then they give you generic recommendations. I will say what I am highly sensitive to but I was really disappointed in the process and how it was handled by the company. I started this in the beginning of June and they lost my samples. I had to do another whole test and they just gave me my results. I asked for some money off and they said no.

A Black Box Disguised as Science
I spent hundreds of dollars expecting actionable, science based insights. Instead, I received a report that lacked the transparency needed to make the data meaningful.
Viome lists, gut microbes, and gene expression results without explaining whether they’re beneficial or harmful, what the levels are and what that actually means, or how they may relate to symptoms. When I requested the underlying interpretation, they refused to provide it.
Their supplement recommendations also raised concerns. While some ingredients have evidence behind them, many appeared to be included in amounts below commonly recognized effective doses, making the products difficult to justify for the price.
To make matters worse, their toothpaste and lozenges contain ingredients I actively avoid for microbial health, including Carrageenan, Stevia, gums, and emulsifiers.
This company asks customers to trust its science while withholding the information needed to evaluate it.
Save your money. This felt more like a marketing scam than personalized health.
