Trial not starting

I signed up for the trial multiple times through the app. My Subscriptions show that the trial is active but the app is not

Response from developer

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and I’m sorry you’re running into this. We are aware of an issue affecting some users where a trial or subscription may show as active in the App Store but not immediately unlock access within the app. Our team can manually review and restore access in most cases. Please contact us through the in-app support option or email support@sentur.app, and we’ll be happy to help get you up and running. Thank you for your patience while we work to improve this experience. — The Sentur Team

Price too high for what the app is

It’s a good app, and helpful for IFS. But the price is too high for what it does. I was expecting more. I want a refund and apple wont give me one.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad to hear you found the app helpful for IFS work, and I’m sorry to hear it didn’t feel like the right value for you. Not As Automatic Or Automated As IFS Guide

It's a shame that a small team of app developers can produce a product with features that feel more intuitive and not as complicated to setup, as opposed to a product produced by a bigger and more established company.

Shame, shame...👆👉

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback — I understand where you’re coming from. Sentur was originally created by a small team, but for the past 18 months, it’s just been me — a therapist, not a developer — continuing to support it because I believe deeply in making trauma-informed care more accessible. I know there’s room to make the setup and experience smoother, and your feedback truly helps me focus on that. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

Beyond Amazing!!!

If I had this app when I was in my healing journey, it would have exponentially improved my trajectory. So full of incredibly useful resources! I love the intentionality of the depth of connection with parts, like the daily parts meditation practice. Thank you, Sentur!!!

Issues with app not fixed

I’ve spent countless hours over the past year chatting with tech support and have not been able to fix overlapping text with my parts map, and I haven’t been able to export my parts map and history to where they’re usable. I requested a refund but have not received a reply.

Beyond My Wildest Hopes and Imagination

The question my parts ask me is, “Where would our healing have been if we had THIS app 20 years ago in our process?!?!?”

I’m confident that if I had this app 20 years ago my healing would have taken less time and felt more seamlessly integrated!!

I used to journal and had color-coded tabs for topics, healing modalities, dreams, etc and in the end those tabs were unhelpful. With Sentur, everything is stored in a way to easily retrieve it AND make sense of it all! From Self energy assessments to parts bios and parts mapping and to various meditations including two post-unburdening ones, this app provides deep support and a continuity thread that assists in integrating IFS sessions. I’m not at a place in my life where I need the “are you struggling?” feature, but my gosh I needed that years ago. It’s the next best thing to being able to call a therapist at any moment you need (which we know we can’t do). Incredible!!

I’m grateful for Sarah, Faris, and the whole team for creating this resource and continuing to build it out. I’m amazed!

If you haven’t checked it out yet, do your parts a huge favor and try it. For 0.15cents (USD) per day it’s the best resource you can have at your fingertips. That’s beyond well worth it in my opinion.

You cannot use with giving all your personal info

Are you looking for help and heard an app might help? Are you worried and scared by it all? You would think folks trying assist in mental health they’d think of these things. That they would design something inviting and non-threatening, right?

Then stay away from this app! Its designed to trigger you from the get-go.

Why?

You can’t even check this app out - get past your trepidation and insecurity- even after summoning the courage to download it - without being rejected. You are not allowed to get past the first screen without signing up so they can acquire your data and information.

So you find yourself even more confused and upset then when you started.

Advice to the designers and marketers — don’t do this to folks already dealing with issues. Your lack of empathy would be funny if it wasn’t so depressing.

Hi @Polixter, Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings so openly. I’m Sarah, co-founder and c-CEO, and I’m truly sorry that your experience with Sentur has been upsetting. Mental health app of the year

TL;DR: 10/10 app, great interface, no bugs, large diversity of features, kind and responsive team including experts, in depth tutorials, theory lessons and meditations, and a growing community.

I've started learning about Internal Family Systems, an incredibly powerful approach to treating various mental health conditions including trauma and personality disorders. It can also have a place in any healthy person's mental health toolkit, as one of the best ways of getting to know yourself better.

The app can be used as standalone or in conjunction with therapy. I have no means of working with an IFS practitioner, so have been using it standalone and while reading IFS books (recommendation: "No Bad Parts" by Richard C Schwartz).

The book is not really even needed - the app's in depth tutorial cover IFS theory as well as best ways to make use of the app. The interface is intuitive, and the kind and responsive team are always there to answer your questions and provide help promptly. The team is also engaged in building a community within the app.

My favourite parts of the app are the interactive map of parts: this is something so much more easily done digitally than on paper. There are meditations helping you get in touch and check in with different parts, and the "Chat with your parts" feature is excellent, especially as audio input is enabled and encouraged, bringing the sessions closer to what it would look like in a practicioner's office.

Doesn’t work well for full parts map, no response from company

I purchased the app after hearing about it in a podcast. I’m training to become an IFS practitioner and am also working with an IFS therapist myself, so I wanted to find an app for mapping parts that I could use personally and recommend to clients. The parts map was barely usable when I first started mapping parts a few months ago. I had numerous long exchanges with tech support. They were relatively helpful with allowing the map to show more than just a few parts and the part cluster option being mostly unusable. That took about a month of exchanges. The map is still not working well because the names of the parts overlap. I stopped trying to work with tech support because I had to keep sending screenshots and videos of what the app was doing, but they kept telling me nothing could get fixed until the next update. It’s been many weeks, and the issue remains. I was prompted to give feedback about the issues I’ve had with the app, but I never received a response. I’m frustrated I spent dozens of hours making my map that I can’t transfer somewhere else, and I would lose access to it if I canceled my subscription. So overall, my experience has been that this was a huge waste of money and time. The idea for the app is great, but if it’s not fully functional and they won’t even respond to people who have tried to work with tech support to fix the issues, then I can’t recommend the app.

Loved it!

Helped me a lot!

So grateful to find this!

I’ve just started working with IFS in therapy, but had a breakthrough experience on my own that left me eager to do more between sessions. After hearing an interview with this app’s creator on an IFS podcast, I downloaded and signed up for the trial. It only took a few minutes with the app to see it’s value, so I subscribed right then. Considering an hour of therapy is $200, this is an amazing deal! The app provides a clear structured interface to learn about and set up a personal IFS model and daily practice. I haven’t explored all that’s offered yet, but the resources available and the sequenced steps already answered a lot of the questions I had after my sessions. The app is beautiful and really easy to work with on both the phone and iPad. I can see it will be my go-to resource and “operating system” for doing the work, freeing up therapy time for the deeper dives. I think reading “No Bad Parts” and using this app could help a lot of people without access to therapy as well. Thanks for a really well designed tool that makes this life-changing therapy more accessible and manageable!

It’s all great, but the buttons are so glitchy

I am loving the app, when I try to type in things in the HTML box, that says “tap here to write,” the keyboard does not appear it appears for a brief moment, and then it keeps disappearing. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, how did you solve it? To developers.- could you help me solve this issue? It is really problematic because I cannot type stuff in.

Great App

This is an amazing great app, that helps with my mental health

Takes ISF healing to a new level

Yes, there’s IFS books, videos, podcasts and therapy sessions- then there’s the work itself. This app is designed for actual practice. Its will help you to know and communicate with each part, help them unburden, collaborate and continually return to cultivating self-energy.

Mapping parts can be overwhelming- this app has the ability to do so visually and also explore each part’s personality. The relationships between parts can be diagrammed. Trailheads identified.

When an emotion or situation arises, there are techniques in this app to help learn about which parts are involved, and ways to bring the “C”s to their experiences. The guided videos actually guide exploration, letting you approach your internal world in gentle ways.

There’s so much more I could say but coming from someone who’s been doing this work for a while and always feel post-session like I’m free-falling till next, I now have the ability to work with my parts anytime, anyplace.

My only warning is that once you start, you might become obsessed with mapping everything. Let the app draw you to where you most want to go. Take the risk of sittung 10 minutes and letting a guided meditation help you explore experientially.

The designers did a mind blowing job of creating a platform where the question “what do I do between therapy sessions” has the answer. Use this app 😀

Can’t get past third screen

This looks promising and sign up easy. But the entry way is a series of questions and by the third screen the text doesn’t scroll so you cannot progress to the program. Tried reinstalling and still same issue. Too bad. Was looking forward to this important tool.

Glitchy

I can’t get this app to load past the first 2 pages.

Best App ever

I have found this app so helpful in discovering and keeping track of my parts. I love how I can find images or emojis for my parts as well as all of the meditations and questions that allow me to discovering more about them. I would recommend this app to anyone who’s interested in doing effective and deep inner work! 💞

IFS in the palm of your hands

I had been thinking about building an app like this and then discovered it already existed! This is exactly what I needed to help me keep my parts straight and check-in on them between therapy sessions. Looking forward to future developments in the app.
