don’t even bother with these guys. though I didn’t necessarily have any issues and paid my loan early, i immediately deleted my account after paying it off. You should be able to pay with your debit card without all of that other foolishness, they are sneaky and want to put you in a position to miss a payment.

Don’t believe the hype
There bots lying !!! I went to do the pay later feature to get my tv !!! They telling me 7 days to receive my tv and pending my transaction when they took $36.99 for a “ premium subscription “ including my tv and everything . Scammers!!!
Purchasing Power
Sezzle is there when I need it. But, it's inconvenient when I have to wait at the checkout for approval. I need a higher limit for purchasing.
Charge you $7 fees
There quick asf to charge you for $7 fees. They charged my account that had money in it but for some reason wouldn’t go thru, my bank said they don’t why it wouldn’t go thru there’s no restrictions for it but yet Sezzle charged me $7 for failed payment when there’s no reason it should’ve failed. They have officially done this to me 2times now and they won’t help with the problem there insisting it’s my fault and there’s nothing they can do

Points Scam
I thought this would be a points app that wasn’t a scam (finally!) because Sezzle itself as a payment processor works great. But, alas, their rewards are just another bait-and-switch where they advertise one amount then reward another (or nothing at all). Their customer service is a joke - no amount of screenshots will get them to help. It’s even more disappointing because otherwise this is a legit company.

Unnecessary fees to pay
Why can’t I use my debit card to pay, I have to pay y’all 5 dollars to upload money into “sezzle cash” then pay my bill. That’s very unnecessary and annoying

Sezzle Allowed Fraudulent Charges, Ignored and Canceled My Sub
This is the worst of any buy now pay later app. Go with literally anyone else. It’s annoying AF to use and costs way too much to use, monthly.
I had a charge from Amazon but received no product at all. I opened a dispute and contacted “priority support” that you get from a subscription, but they ignored me or just sent auto-generated nonsense. Then I woke up the next morning to find out they canceled and refunded my subscription for no apparent reason and I have gotten no response still from support.
App is garbage and so are the people and the fees. I’ve switched to an empty bank account for the rest of my payments because they aren’t getting jack until they respond to emails or in-app support chats.
I have a higher limit on PayPal, cashapp, four, afterpay - I can literally go anywhere to get the same service but pay little to nothing in fees. Can’t wait to see this thing fail.
Update: I did contact Sezzle and for simply opening a dispute that they denied was unauthorized even though my bank determined after a month that it was fraudulent, Sezzle has suspended my account. The only way to have the suspension lifted is to confirm with them and the merchant that this charge is valid. Absolutely not. I will not be lying. I do not recognize this as valid and I will be in touch with my bank to ensure zero payments go to Sezzle for any purchase or payment again. The agent was also incredibly rude the entire time. You have lost your mind if you think I’m going to say I incorrectly disputed a charge and am wrong when I’m not. Please.

Disappointed But
I have been a Customer with SEZZLE for a while ! Although, Apps like these are very helpful to people who have limited income or whatever the case may be. These apps are also very unforgiving when it comes to life situations and working with loyal customers! Once I pay off everything I will never use this app again . Their late fees are ridiculous even when you don't even deserve them and make a point to communicate with the representatives they will not work anything out with you. I cannot conduct business with greedy companies

FICO report installments
Be weary of using the services going forward. As someone with a 752 credit score I am so insanely worried about how FICO adding installment payments will affect me. I do not miss payments and I pay every installment I ever had however, the impact this will have on be Negative despite.
It also is highly unethical that the company did not disclose this directly. They probably updated their terms and use secretly and kept it pushing.
If you can afford to pay in full, do not apps for the sake of convenience. It will cost you so much more This will be my biggest regret as I repair my credit once this affects it.

sezzle spend is a lie. I missed payment is actually $25.00 late payment fee + processing fee
ive had $65 in sezzle spend thats never shown anywhere on my account until after the points expired
what they dont tell you is if you miss a payment itll cost you about 25$ actually, no other version of this service ive used charges a processing fee even if you dont pay them back for 5 years+ its just 1 late fee. theres much less exploitative iterations of this type of service that actually help your credit score directly.

Don’t waste your time
Just walked through the store checking multiple times, Sezzle told me I had $209 available. Only to scan a cart full of food and then it’s time to pay and they changed it to $0.

Sezzle fails to sizzle
Sezzle is the only app I’ve used that’s consistently inconsistent. If you can handle the mood swings, it’s fine. Just don’t expect your spending power to make sense from one day to the next.

Inconsistent available balance
They’ll tell you that your available balance will go up if you pay early or on time, but that’s a lie, I made an early payment of $115 and they took $400 dollars away from my available balance. Once again as soon as my available balance reached $2000 Sezzle found a way to restrict my account, now I can’t use it at all, and customer service is utterly pathetic.

Ridiculous
This app is ridiculous. My card was locked which caused me to have “failed” payment i can understand if the card had insufficient funds these people charge me $42 in fees, almost twice the cost of what was owed ridiculous. Rip off money hungry
