Unable to reset password
Only signupnor login but can’t reset password as advised by eddy chatbot. What is this app user experience design?
Login only with +65
The app assume that only people with +65 mobile number should be allowed to login to download receipt. Foreigners cannot download receipt. Before we could, now we cannot.
Still With Weird Procedures
I recently obtained and activated a senior’s concession card. When I attempted to add the card to my SimplyGo lists of cards, the app keeps fleshing me the message that an email with instructions on transferring funds from a nominated card has been sent to me, but it gets stuck there and does not let me add the card. And, when I check my email, there is nothing there from SimplyGo.
To make matters worse, when I used the app to scan the details of my new concession card, it shows the card’s remaining value and the last few trips I took, but I also noticed that there is a pending cancellation request!! What absolute rubbish! I cannot even add the card that I activated 30 mins ago and there’s already a cancellation request made on the card by some ghost?

Worst app and service
This app and their service is worst. I lost my card and I blocked it immediately. But they can block the card only after 48 hours once the block request is sent. In between time someone took my card and used all the money I had.
What is the use of having a blocking service like this. I received nothing because before they block my card, the people who stole used everything.
Useless app and useless service. The person who designed doesn’t have enough brain ??? Shame. Thank you for helping the thief.

Limited option when you have a guest account and you need a Singaporean phone number to create a login.
Frustrating, Cumbersome and Convoluted Processes
My credit card (Mastercard)used for auto top-up was compromised, and I’m unable to do anything about it.
1. My EZ Link card was blocked because the auto top-up payment did not go through. Despite making a manual payment, the card shows as pending deactivation in the app.
2. When I try to remove my compromised and now deactivated credit card from the app, the app says it is linked with auto top-up, and I need to unlink it before I can remove the card. Guess what? I can't do so because my EzLink card is inoperable in the app pending deactivation.
3. When I try to add the replacement credit card I received from the Bank, because it's also a Mastercard, the app does not allow me to add it as my previous Mastercard remains linked with my account.
If I had to guess, SimplyGo is actively working to shut down the use of EzLink and get everyone to use their debit/credit cards for payment by making it impossible for customers to manage their cards in their app.

Easy and good
Full of bugs and not user friendly at all!
Horrible app! It’s so hard to even manage my kids’ cards with my wife. Once added to my device, cannot even add to my wife’s. Emailed to feedback also no use. Kindly listen to what users need before implementing your features. If it wasn’t mandatory to use the app, I wouldn’t even download it! I can’t believe it has a 4.5 stars!!??? They rated themselves???!??!

Terrible app for tourist
You cant register to check your ezlink balance and most of their crucial services without a Singapore number. How are foreigners and tourist supposed to use this? Doesnt your country promote public transport for all??

Topup error
I topped up $10 into my new ezlink card through this app and it told me it didnt go through. So i topped up another $10 and yet the same thing happened. Till i toped up a total of $30 then it told me $30 has went through. Then i realised my card was still at $0 so i went to look around the app and saw that it took 1-2 business days for the money to get through. It has been 3 days. If apps like paynow can smoothly process transactions in the matter of seconds, why cant simplygo do that? I have to wait business days for the money to get through? And i cant refund the money i transferred by the app. And i have $0 on my card says the app. So how? Just go normal ticketing machine guys.

Unable to refresh student concession card
The app is poorly conceived. A mandatory ill executed app by LTA. Can’t even keep the value student card value up to date in the app. Can’t even refresh the concession card to see the current information. Top up says error and unable to validate if transaction went through. Credit card unbilled statement says transaction pending, as per successful cases as well so there is no way to know if it went thru or not. Feedback to the app suppoty and they give a slapon template answer that serves nothing and does nothing. Given so much extra time and they havent gotten the simplest request of “be timely on data” right.

Misleading app features!
This “Buy Monthly Concession Pass” feature has been broken for years.
The app claims you can purchase concession passes, but after adding a concession card, it simply never shows up. Instead, you get “No concession cards found,” which completely blocks the purchase. So the feature exists… but doesn’t actually work.
What’s worse is this isn’t a new issue. It has been like this for a long time, yet nothing has been fixed. Users are still forced to go down to MRT stations to do something the app supposedly supports.
This isn’t a minor bug, it’s a core function that fails at the most basic level. It feels like the feature was shipped just to tick a box, not to actually work.
If the app cannot support concession pass purchases properly, then don’t advertise it. And if it can, then fix it properly instead of leaving users stuck in a dead end.
Right now, it’s misleading at best and a complete waste of time at worst.

add ezlink card by nfc scan request verification to connect with singpass, add payment method to connect w bank apps and still no way to top up…so not working ☹️
Forces you to waste time and data to update many times
Wanted to use the app urgently to check routing but the app doesn’t work as it says an update is available and forces you to update to the latest version. This has happened a few times and the prompt to update is annoying What’s the point of forcing users to update when the previous edition was working fine. Users want an app that works when they use it, without wasting time and mobile data outside to update.

Forever stuck
There are many times you will see the spinning wheels and the app just hang there.
I've activated auto-top up for my child using my credit card. When I lost my credit card and got a replacement, I am unable to update my new credit card details because the app insist I have an auto top-up pending. I made the outstanding payment settlement from the web link in the app, which I went to Ticketing service counter to confirm the payment was successful. However, I still cannot active his auto top-up.
I went to the setting to remove my old credit card under "manage payment method" but I was told to deactivate all cards that are on auto top-up under the old credit card”. It's a vicious cycle. I then tried to add my new credit details, but it says "the same card type currently exists as a payment method". I don't see my new card in the app.
In short, don't lose your credit card or don't activate the auto top-up.

Almost completely useless for non-residents - SimplyNO
You may have seen other reviews complaining about needing a +65 mobile number to create an account to do anything useful. That’s true, but it’s WORSE than that!
After creating an account with a Singapore number you STILL can’t top up a card without Singpass authentication, which a non-local doesn’t have. The only useful function of the app in guest mode is to check a current balance. Huge frustration and waste of time!!

Not user friendly for Non Singaporean PR/ non Singaporean
Can’t even use the app to register my ez link without having a singpass ID!!! Makes it difficult to add/ register & monitor new Ezlink cards (ie expiry date, etc)
