Simple yet profound

I really love this app. It makes learning mindfulness so easy and playful rather than scary or serious. The tools that you learn have an immediate impact on my anxiety too - when I feel it bubbling up, I just do a mandala meditation for a few minutes and can feel the tension dissipating in my body. Socks keeps the journey so friendly and approachable I feel like I have a buddy in my journey :) It almost seems too simple/fast/easy to be effective but I can FEEL the difference so I know it’s working. It’s so nice to have a tool for the moments when you’re on your own and need to recenter.

Disappointed

There isn’t any free trial to preview the app. I downloaded it when a friend I trust who lives in Seattle mentioned meeting the app developer, who offered a good description of the intended function and had me intrigued.

I’m a mental health professional and recommended it to a mental health client to try. I regret doing so, because the client informed me after paying a subscription fee that they need to be linked to a clinician through the app for it to work properly.

Im a clinician but have no way to link to clients and I’m not sure I would want to anyway- I monitor clients progress through sessions, and don’t know about HIPAA compliance of this app or having to access an app for between-session data. The app appears to be in more of a development stage than ready for market. I’ll stick to what I know such as Calm, HeadSpace, etc. disappointed.

My Friend the Creator of Sinisprite

There have been presentations of myself and the success of my usage of this app from the Beta phase to the amazing app it is now. The Creator has asked me to do interviews for her to expand on how I feel about my thoughts about this app, alas, my anxious personality will not allow it. At least therebisbmy picture to put a face to my story.

The Creator and I have known each other since high school. Over ten years ago, I hit the lowest of a low and nearly ended my life, but was unsuccessful.

I noticed on Facebook that my friend was discussing the development of this app she was creating. I thought why not, what do I have to lose. The rest is history.

This app has saved my life numerous times. It reminds me that I have worth and I can pull myself from the depths by increase useage or low key maintenance. Either way, it is like taking my daily medications.

I will never stop using this app as I am ever grateful to the Creator of this app.

Take the time. Use it diligently, you may be surprised at how helpful it can be.

Awesome app

This has been An amazing app. It’s been nice to use to help with my anxiety my only complaint is that, even though I have my sound on, I don’t hear anything from the app. I don’t know why this is. I’ve gotten a new phone but the problem persists. Love the app regardless but would enjoy it more with the calming sounds.

whoever made this app: IM PROUD OF U!!!!

I’ve literally never even left a review for an app before so that should tell you how much I love this app. Anxiety is a biiiiig struggle for me and journaling on my own seems overwhelming. This app gives you stations, which makes it easy to organize your thoughts and slowly work through working out stress and anxiety. It’s like just one small step at a time, bite sized and easy to think through and then move onto the next step. The music is so cute and calming. Also having the animated fox, Socks, walk you through each station is like having a little comforting pet by your side while you do it. I love love love it! It says more stations coming soon and I’m so excited.
