Worst App I Have Ever Used
Every single month, I run into issues trying to pay my SMECO bill through this app. It has never—not once—just let me log in and pay my bill without a problem.
It constantly tells me my password is incorrect when I KNOW it isn’t. I’ve tried saving the password so there’s no chance of entering it incorrectly, and that doesn’t work either. I’ve even tried the option to log in using my account number and ZIP code instead of a password—and THAT doesn’t work!
Why is it so incredibly difficult to give you money?!
Paying a monthly utility bill should be one of the simplest functions an app provides. Instead, every month it turns into the same frustrating ordeal just trying to access my account and make a payment.
I use plenty of apps to manage and pay bills, and I can honestly say this is the WORST app I have ever used. SMECO seriously needs to address the login and payment issues because customers should not have to fight with an app just to pay their bill.

Account Issues
I downloaded the app and I was able to make a new user account just fine. The issue is it won’t add my account and states there is no active account with the information I put in. When I do it online it worked just fine. This is app is pointless if I can’t even see my account information.
Password Issues
The app never seems to save the Password correctly! Very frustrating! Hopefully, the app will get an overhaul and fix the consistent issue!
Password issues
Just like everyone else says, when i enter my password correctly, it almost never works. It either forces me to reset my password, or i have to login through the browser to login with that password. It's really annoying. But when it actually works, everything works fine. Logging in is painful, if you can even get it to accept your credentials.

Still Broke
This app has not been updated in over a year. The password issue continues to linger. Which is to say that the password expires without telling the user. This requires calling Smeco and getting the password reset. The app password is also not tied to a biometric feature as many other apps do. This would make it more convenient for logging in. This app needs to be Updated now.

Can’t Log In!
Just like everyone else, I tried to download the app despite the reviews, and SURPRISE SURPRISE, it doesn’t recognize my username and password either! The only reason I keep it is because it will let me pay the bill without logging in, and is essentially acts faster than a bookmark to the website in my browser.

Stopped working
The app features stopped working a couple years ago and now the app doesn’t allow you to sign in at all. The web sign in still works but the app is completely useless.
Just go to the website
I agree with all the reviews that complain that it doesn’t work. It won’t allow me to sign in. I can use the same login credentials on the website and the work, so I am giving up on trying to use the app even though every communication from SMECO suggests you use the app.

Can’t login doesn’t recognize my password. Website works fine.
THE WORST
I had no problem with this app for the first maybe year I used it. For at least six months now, it says invalid credentials. Acts like you forgot your password but won’t change it. Go to the website and everything is fine. So it’s a glitch in the app. Don’t bother with it.
Why Bother!
Worst app ever! Why bother having an app if it doesn’t work?! It takes more time trying to login than it does to pay a bill. Isn’t the purpose of an app to streamline the process? Fix it or get rid of it!
New user can’t log in
After reading the reviews from previous users I decided to give the app a try anyway, after noticing the update. New SMECO user just created a new account to login. As soon as I went to login it immediately said it cannot log me in and my password is incorrect. This is SAD that this complaint has existed for years and still hasn’t been corrected. Due better! Or don’t offer the app!

Worthless
Downloaded the app and it will not open. It immediately closes after flashing it’s homepage.
Can’t log on
I got the app and haven’t been able to login to my account since. What’s the point of offering an app to better serve your customers if no one is making sure it’s working properly. Every time I try it says there was an error try again later
Get it together SMECO!!
If I could give a lower rating I would. Won’t recognize password and end up changing password almost every time I log in only to be told the password I input is an old password and I can’t use it!! Well of course it is - I knew I had the right one to begin with!! Says my email is not verified but has no way to verify it. I decide to change it and it won’t recognize a new email. I can’t believe a business has an app out there as poor as this one!!!

Waste of space
If you want an app for cosmetics then look no further. Actually serves no purpose just takes up space.

Energy use tab doesn’t load at all on app.
App is WHACK!
Wish I could rate NO STARS. The app no longer allows me to sign in with my proper credentials. Then if it does, I’m unable to make a payment. DO NOT INSTALL. Go straight to the website.
Stopped working
Like another user here, app worked fine for me last month but doesn’t appear to be working now to pay bills. Disappointed because I liked it when it worked. Hope it’s fixed soon.
