App is trash
The app keeps saying technical difficulties for deliveries and it makes things 30 times harder than it should be this company needs to fix there app and they should be ashamed of themselves for bringing this app out with these errors for so long
No refunds for mobile orders
If you use the app to mobile order and the location you’re picking up from can’t fulfill the order, they can’t give you a refund because you purchased through the app. Then if you contact customer service, they won’t give you your real, actual money back. They’ll only give you rewards points and, if you push, credits. But no real refund. Use at your own risk.

Awful rewards system
Every time I attempt to order something with rewards and also try to have the order delivered it refuses to let me, getting stuck on the check out screen saying I have not chosen picked a pick up choice. I find it incredibly shady to have the option to get items free just to not allow me to use my points to get said items free. Please fix your app.

They broke it
The new Rewards program-or lack thereof- their own has made me cut my visits by at least 50%. R rewards are hard to use in the app. They are way too many conditions like you can only use them at certain times and on certain days.
1-star Sonic app!
I have been trying to use the Sonic app for 6 weeks. Every time I get a message saying that they are experiencing technical difficulties. I’ve logged in and out multiple times. Updated the app over the past few weeks. Even changed phones. I’ve deleted the app and re-installed. NOTHING works. Employees no help. I’ve started going other places for my afternoon drink order.

App needs total redesign
Most cumbersome app on the planet. Just try to select the half price drink reward. Ha! You scroll through weird sizes and combinations on a list. Why not let us pick the drink or give drop downs or apply a coupon. How many combinations are listed and appear in a random order? Ridiculous. Can’t select a menu category either. Have to scroll. You need a new design team. This is bad.

No more 1/2 Price Drinks But Forced Ads
There’s no longer any half price drinks in the app. And they took away the actual decent offers.
So why have an app that is constantly changing for the worse and gets you no real offers/deals? Just order at the store, less likely for them to mess it up.

Always Something
There’s always something wrong with this app. Currently, it won’t let me check in. So I had to move to a stall with a button so I could call them and check in but they said I had already checked in. But the app still says I didn’t check in. Now everyone is confused bc I’m not at the first stall where I originally “checked in” because I had to move since the app didn’t show that I was checked in.

The deals are not to mention the food love it
You have to make a way to cancel orders
So when your app defaults to a sonic 6 miles away instead of the one I’m currently sitting at and then submits the order for that store then people need to be able to cancel the order somehow. I called the store and they said they weren’t able to and I needed to call a 1-800 number. So I lost a bunch of rewards points and paid way more for my order because your app sneakily defaults to whatever sonic it feels like rather than the closest one. Sweet!

The app is very unfriendly and difficult to use. Don’t like that only one reward can be used at a time either. Go back to the way it used to be.
Why did they change the 1/2 price drink orders in the app to a reward?
In the past it was automatically applies but now it’s climates as a reward because they’re greedy and don’t want you to apply another reward with 1/2 price drinks. So then I’m stuck doing multiple order. Just annoying.

Always had horrible technical issues
Old app, new add, it doesn’t matter they’re both horrible. I swear it never stays logged in, always claims my saved password is wrong even after resetting. Even claims my email isn’t set up when it has been for years. Never gonna use this app again, deleting permission until fixed.
No 1/2 price drinks
Used to get the 1/2 price drink reward but now only get .99 cent between 6am-10am reward. Not sure why but the whole reason I got the app was for the 1/2 price drinks
