Great app, but if something goes wrong…
If something goes wrong, like the app decides to send your order to a Sonic a hundred miles away, there is no easy fix. You’ll have to call the corporate help line and wait on hold to get anything done. I work all over and the app likes to default to somewhere I’ve been, not where I am. No, I’m not trying to order food for a Sonic a hundred miles away.

Worst App
This app never works and it sucks because I never can get my discount on drinks. This app used to be good but what is an app if you cannot pay on there. I am about to stop going to Sonic because of this.
Bad service
I had over 2000 points and could never use them overtime I would try to use them it would tell me I had to purchase something so I never got to use them and now there gone so I deleted the app and as far as I’m concerned I’ll never eat from sonic again
Impossible to get refund
Ice cream machine seems to always be broken. It doesn’t notify you anywhere that the store you are ordering at doesn’t have ice cream. Then It’s impossible to get any refund of any sort neither in the app or in person. I got jipped 2 times on my birthday ordering on the app. Thinking that the only other sonic in town probably has ice cream and then…. no. Of course not. I lost 40$ on ice cream I never got on my birthday.

Another update, a new issue
There are actually several things that are finally really good in the app (location finder) but it’s actually pretty funny how every time one thing gets fixed something else breaks. When trying to apply the half off drink deal, and you are trying to choose your drink, you now literally have to scroll through every single drink Sonic offers to find the one you want. And there is no rhyme or reason to how it is sorted. It’s not by size, it’s not by size of drink, it’s almost like someone said make it the most random sore order you can think of. there have been several times that I’ve just skipped the deal because I was scrolling for so long looking for my drink.

Unable to use
This app worked 8 times and now will not process an order. We have deleted payment methods and put them back in as well as deleted the app and redownloaded it. Have reached out to customer support 2x with no response.
Hard to order drinks
I dislike the current app experience. My daughter really likes the lemonade slush but I can’t order it on the app even though my local sonic makes it. I also dislike that I have to scroll through the entire drink menu to choose the drink I want when redeeming the 1/2 price drink/slush reward. The app makes drink ordering far less customizable than ordering in person

I keep receiving an error when trying to make a mobile order which I've successfully done weekly for a while now. Now Apple Pay or any of my linked cards won't work.

Error code APP4241 for the past couple weeks, literally cannot use the app to place orders. I don’t want to spend $15 for this food man that’s just a scam.
Worst app for ordering food ever
One of the worst apps ever created for ordering food. You can’t stack gift cards it doesn’t properly explain what you need to do to fully redeem points and it deleted 90% of my points due to an in app error. If I could give zero stars I would as this app is just absolutely garbage. 0 stars
Horrible Customer Service
I ordered using the Sonic app as I normally do, I have ordered corn dough and explored honey mustard but today they gave me a corn dough that was burnt and when I asked for honey mustard was told that because I use the app I wasn’t charged and I could not have it. But in depends and the Wichman had a horrible disposition.
