Difficult to Use
I used this app years ago, and it was so easy. Now it seems that they’ve made to process of adding an account or card very convoluted with a third party company.

Making payments outside of Splitwise
I made a payment outside of Splitwise. Splitwise sent me my monthly balance and at the bottom of the email provided instructions on how to “settle up” payments made outside of the app. There is no clear “settle up” option AND the help does not bring up articles on how to “settle up” or “managing payments done outside of the app”.

Great app
Really easy to use. Highly recommend. I used this for a trip of 4 families/16 people. The ability to split by “share” makes it so easy. Also was happy to have easy was to convert from euros back to dollars.

I am retired and have adult children. We often buy things for one another. Paying each other back would be such a hassle without Splitwise. It is a seamless process each month. I love it.

I thought this app didn’t recognise cash but I was wrong you can register that you have paid in cash as well so really useful

Used this for boys trips and for a sports club. It’s just so easy to use, makes things fair, easy to link to and account so you can settle quickly - love it

Made their own product worse by trying to get you to pay a monthly subscription. Don’t get this app and reward such behavior. Shame. Bad product.
Used to be good
The new maximum expenses limit for non premium users is ridiculous. 3 expenses a day when I’m on holiday? You’ve got to be joking. £5 for being able to figure out what we owe on a 4 day trip? Complete waste.
