Unusable in West Loop Chicago
The map is so outdated and inaccurate for the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago that it’s virtually unusable. I’m talking >6 months outdated if not many years outdated.
I love the interface of the app, so I wish this wasn’t the case! Please update.

Not accurate
Seemingly very accurate about somethings and so wrong about lots of others, not the th kinda of consistency you want when parking restrictions fees and fines are expensive.
Very useful
For a free app, it has saved me lots of hassle of staring at street signs and holding up traffic. Or even researching on google maps! Of the 15-20 times I’ve used it in NYC and boston, it has not led me astray (and if i misremembered, well, there probably wasn’t any parking anyways). You should always double check anyways.

Multiple parking tickets
This app claims to help you avoid parking tickets by sending alerts based on street-parking schedules. I’ve used it diligently, and it always thanks me for sending so many great parking photos.
However I still repeatedly have gotten parking tickets because its alerts are unreliable. Really annoying. I’m done with it.

Spying?
With Bluetooth fully turned off in the app, spotangel detected my car via Bluetooth and attempted to pair. It’s acting like spyware on your phone.

Developer says it’s not possible, and that is definitely what happened on my phone. They suggest emailing their support, which I did and they went radio silent. Avoid this spyware.

NYC Life Saver
I don’t think people understand how to use this app…it tells you where and when you can park throughout the city. It’s incredibly helpful and detailed. You pay for parking through Park NYC app. Not here…I’m considering trying the upgraded version but not seeing a lot of reviews for it. If I do the trial, I’ll come back and report!

No clear way to check what day street cleaning is on.
Bug makes it impossible to input payment info

Forced sign in forced everything
This app is stupid forces you to sign in 1 million prompts before you can get to the app ask for everything on your phone all your information and the free parking isn't free it's misleading and this app is dumb

Although it’s not 100% always accurate, spot angels has helped me get parking and to plan my visits. Thanks for all the avoided parking tickets!

Good app but outdated
It’s a good app. I used to use it a lot. But with constant rule change in San Francisco, this app is not keeping up. Just now Lombard and Fillmore, app says tow away at 4pm, but I searched the whole street, there is no sign for that, just a sign for 6-8am Tues and Thur street cleaning. There are other times I have used it too but signs have changed in other parts of the city. I still use it to get a general idea of parking around the area I’m going to. But sometimes Google maps street view is better since they update the maps a lot more often
