Doesn’t load

Exciting that there’s a new app but unfortunate that it won’t open on my iPhone.

Redesign is user-unfriendly

Please, please help those of us who preferred original design to revert back to it. I truly can hardly read my range, am missing 1 hr overview, and am altogether struggling with new and not-improved visuals. Please! I was so grateful to have this monitor and the original app.

new updates kinda useless

so the new Insights are useless. you get notifications you have an insight when they are unchanged. and they always refer to “yesterday”
usually it is the day before yesterday. could it at least refer to the actual day or date? at least if it isn’t updated you’ll know.

STELO BOT IS USELESS. There is no conversation. just AI RESPONSES. This was a COMMENT ON THE NEW APP NOT AN ISSUE WITH AN ORDER. HOW ABOUT a REAL PERSON acknowledge the app issue?!

Good product-worst app ever

The sensor when you can pair it is good. The problem is the app. It’s the worst. Pairing could go smooth or a nightmare. Not sure why this hasn’t been resolved yet. Hate that oura only pairs with this.

If I could give zero stars I would!

This has been a very frustrating experience so far, and I have tried using these now for about six months! I am about to switch to a different brand because these have continual issues. The readings are wildly inaccurate compared to my fingerstick test, often showing readings around 99 went in real life, my blood glucose is showing by fingerstick test to be 156 or higher. The app constantly has issues, the hardware has issues, I frequently get messages saying there has been a temporary issue and to check back three hours later, and after three hours it has not rectified itself, so I do not get readings during those times. The adhesive often comes off before the length of time of the lifespan of the device, and very often it stops doing correct (or any readings) before the end period. I understand that it is going to be somewhat different than the fingerstick test and that there is a margin percentage of error, but these fall very far outside of those lines. The only thing that this is actually been helpful for, is showing me how much my glucose does or does not rise after certain things that I eat. But as far as keeping an accurate, safe count of what my glucose actually is, it does not work. I didn't even realize it was so far off until I had blood work done and it showed my A1c was still too high, in spite of my CGM app and monitor showing that it had been well within range 96% to 100% of each day for several months! So I started comparing it to a stick test, and discovered that the Stelo CGM is anywhere from 40 to 80 points lower than what the stick test actually shows! Do not rely on this for medical safety! And while I appreciate the company reaching out to me to tell me how to reach their customer service, that doesn't work either. You can't ever reach a human being, it only does their little robot, and then you get a message saying to fill out a form, which I have done numerous times, and then the solution is either that they closed the request out or they send you another sensor. No human being ever actually replies, and they just keep sending emails saying to fill out a form, but filling it out does not resolve the issue.

Good and bad

The monitor is very helpful even if it isn’t a perfectly accurate read because it is still helpful to monitor how you’re eating is impacting your blood sugar. However, I’m constantly experiencing connection issues with the app. And using the bot to problem solve has been extremely irritating and difficult. Reconsidering renewing my subscription due to this.

Annoying problems

Ever since the recent update, this app is very glitchy. I’m getting notifications about meals I had yesterday. I tsp the notification and it opens a blank page. I’ll enter a meal and it disappears. The spinner for the time is glitchy.

Not worth downloading

Wait for the next version.

Too dark

New design is too dark, hard to read. Also when logging in food info the AI gets it wrong. It would be nice if there were a favorites tab where you could easily enter a meal that you often eat without having to reenter the whole thing. Also again the darkness of it is very off putting and hard to see and the AI bot is negative in its comments without having all the information

Great and inexpensive solution

I used Stelo to monitor my glucose temporarily. Stelo provided peace of mind for us. We used it for a few months and then canceled after concluding that my glucose was fine. I would recommend their product and the app for its connectivity capabilities to the device.

New App is too Dark

I like some of the new functionalities of the new app. But it’s just too stinking dark. Is there a setting for LIGHT mode. If not please give us one.

Also customer service is not good. You can only communicate with a bot that seems to be lacking in artificial intelligence.

Follow up:
Been using the new app for several weeks now and still I Do Not like it. Funny enough I left Lingo and went back to Stelo because I liked the Stelo app better. Can’t say that anymore.

Only drawback is confusing activity tracking with wrong date’s steps in calendar yesterday and prev.

Doesn’t work

Please don’t buy it doesn’t sync. I am going to ask for refund

Doesn’t work

This won’t even connect to my Dexcom, so there’s definitely some updating that needs to be done for this to be a much more useful app

Don’t bother

I tried the sensor at the beginning of the year and had constant errors and couldn’t get a solution so I stopped using it. I tried again this month since I had three sensors left. I kept getting error messages and I was just sitting at my desk. I wasn’t pressing on it or far from my app.

Terrible customer service

The app itself is okay. But I would get lots of bad reading and sessions ending early and this company is zero help when something goes wrong and it did a lot. If you do have an issue make sure you document everything and report it immediately. Apparently they are not able to see your info in the app as to when there was a problem and so they expect you to gather everything and fill out multiple forms to report issues and each report is quite time consuming. Most of the AI or live chat help sends you in circles

Stelo sensor does not pair.

I have already used two sensors and after speaking with a representative I was told to insert a third. Meanwhile they will review my case to see if I can get replacements for these sensors. The new format of the app is also does not give the last 24 hour glucose level like the old app. Some times updates aren’t always the best idea.

Huge decrease in usefulness after update

I was very happy with the app and monitor until this recent update. Suddenly it's much harder to quickly see how i'm doing, and have much less flexibility in how i view my stats. The ever present AI coach is also less than useful and hard to hide.
This all makes me much less enthusiastic about this method of monitoring my glucose.
*After a few more weeks with this radical up date of the app I can say it’s even less useful than i realized when I first criticized it. Makes me wonder if the whole stelo system is worth paying for anymore. I can't monitor my glucose very well at all anymore. And apparently all the responses to all the bad reviews they've been getting are from AI so no human at the company will know about all this negative feedback.

Inconsistent accuracy

App has cool features but the readings can be off. I have mixed feelings about whether it’s helping me or not.

Inaccurate

I have been doing finger pricks along side using this when I’m skeptical. It’s always 10pts off of finger prick reading. I don’t feel that I’m able to reliably monitor my blood sugar.
