They tell you, your funds will be available 48 hours after you’ve them or they don’t tell you is utc time which means if I take funds here on Wednesday, it’s a six hour difference and later so any funds I take after 6 PM are not available for almost 5 days. Totally 100% inconvenient especially for a small business. If I were you, I would use square there in this country.

They are the absolute worst; I’d advise everyone to stay away from this piece-of-junk app. Not long ago, someone came to my business and made a purchase with their card; after leaving, they disputed the transaction, claiming the card had been used without their consent. Stripe pulled the funds from my account and refunded the customer—that’s right, the customer walked away with both the product and their money. Worst of all, even though I provided proof that the transaction was legitimate, I still lost the dispute.

Bogus UCC
Stripe placed a lien on our business account without verifying the valid of the debt of which was invalid. It placed a lien on the account without communication with company. Poor customer service.
Locked out from my account.
I have asked repeatedly for stripe to disable two step authentication. I need to update my bank details and cannot do this when using two step authentication. I have had phone conversations and long email threads with stripe support telling me that this will be sorted. After nearly two weeks it is not. I am subsequently losing income.

Expensive & Slow
The ‘processing fees’ are extortionate and the payout is far too slow: they charge you to hold onto your money for 7 days! PayPal & Revolut or bank transfer are infinitely better than this.
Sitting on cash
Not happy about the 5-7 day delay in releasing money to my account. Other Apps are much quicker. Do better.
FRAUD
For starters they continue to sign me out of my app and site. Then they ask me to send a verification. I repeatedly select send a CODE to my phone! For three days NOW NO CODE is sent! I have tons of videos and pictures. I’ve filed yet another report with consumer affairs. Stripe repeatedly locks me out of my account after people have donated and sent money to me. Do NOT use stripe. I’m reaching out to the Minister of International Affairs now. I am NOT sending ID. I used this app two weeks ago so why was I signed out and why is NO code being sent to my phone ever!

They Hold Your Money, Close Your Account, and Ignore You
I would NEVER recommend Stripe to another business owner. My business was verified, I provided the information and documentation they requested, and I legitimately completed the services my customers paid for. Despite that, Stripe held my payouts and made accessing my own business funds an absolute nightmare.
When I repeatedly contacted support asking why my payouts were being held and when I would receive my money, I could not get meaningful assistance. There is no straightforward telephone support number where you can simply speak with someone and resolve the situation. Instead, I received repetitive responses and eventually my account was closed.
What makes this even worse is that I was then told I would not receive the remaining funds in my account, while Stripe could instead refund money to customers whose services had ALREADY been completed. How is a business supposed to operate when you provide the service, incur the expenses, and then your payment processor can withhold the payment and potentially send it back afterward?
If you are a small business owner, understand the risk you are taking before processing your money through this company. Based on my experience, being verified and providing everything requested did not protect me from having my payouts held, my account closed, and being left without meaningful support or a clear path to recover the money I earned. I would give zero stars if that were an option.

App is kinda useless. You can’t charge payments on here, and most of the time I end up going to the website to make new digital products, new coupon codes, attach coupon codes to customers, create payment links, or to view dashboards that I feel should live within this app. I barely use it, but it….works I guess. It’s not really useful to me in my case.
