???

Will not let me view anything in the app without subscribing. There may be a 7 day free trial but how many times have you been caught out accidentally paying the subscription because you’ve forgotten to cancel? And the free trial is only for the yearly subscription which is $174… absolutely not.

Cant track

The app is ok. Not the most user friendly but the annoying part is that I can’t always click the countdown to start the timer. I could be in the same workout/mobility set and I’d have to just hit “complete” in order for it to track.

Update: still can’t utilize the timer properly. Also, if I exit (not close) out of the app for more than a few minutes, it times me out and restarts my workout session. AGGRAVATING

Response from developer

Hi Istel, thank you sharing with us. This is not the experience we want for our customers and we do hope you were able to have this resolved and the app is working much better for you. If you are experiencing any further issues, please reach out to us at support@kkfit.co.uk

Freezes

I enjoy this app, used it since they brought it out.
My biggest issue is it’ll freeze and your workout essentially starts over even though you’re half way threw. Really frustrating. Not this issue is still the same but at least it still shows that the weights are still submitted and it doesn’t mess with ending out the workout. I wish that when you started the next 6 week challenge the the previous weight history was saved cause sometimes you may forget your last weighted whatever or maybe you’ve PR’d your previous but don’t remember .

10 months postpartum

Best structured lifting program out there. Way more affordable than a PT and just as effective. Being a new mom I missed a few workouts and at times instead of doing 4 workouts a week I could only get 2 in. When I couldn’t workout I’d walk an hour with my daughter.

Results came! I’m down to my pre pregnancy weight and arguably am stronger and leaner. But really beyond the weight my motivation is longevity. I’m 41 years old and training is now very important to get in as many days with my daughter in this life. Thank you kkfit!

Love it!

I’ve been using this app since day 1 and I love it! It’s kept me consistent and motivated. I don’t have to think about what my workout is, I just open the app!

Just OK

App is just OK for $20 a month. Has constant glitches and freezes. Warm ups do not allow you to switch workouts like it says you can. Also a lot of random little things they don’t explain. Like RPE etc. a few things I didn’t know even as someone who lifted for years and years. Also I feel like they should have more info on your sets. Like keep this one at the same weight or increase or burn out. I also wish nutrition was explained more in reference to what program you are doing. Wish also had an easier macro tracker. I don’t find the nutrition info very useful.
Have followed these girls for ages and started cuz I would see them at my gym and tried to peep their workouts. So kinda disappointed in this app.
They should also let you view the app set up before signing up.
Also kind of silly you can’t do the challenges for free if you’re paying monthly..
Best if you’re somewhat knowledgeable on lifting and want a solid trainer level program (just workouts) to get specific results.

No pilates & No refunds

I purchased this app to do the Pilates program that they advertise on Instagram. Unfortunately, that program isn’t available on the app. It was only available for a couple of weeks and the program then got deleted. I’m pregnant and that was one of the only workout plans I was able to do. They also don’t offer any refunds so I was charged $20 a month for a handful of workout programs. Definitely recommend other programs like the buff bunny program or Meg squats. They have significantly more options for workout plans.

Good but could use some improvements

I have been following the girls online for many years and have always been inspired by them. This app is good, but not great, and could use some improvements. I will probably try another app once my year is up.

Pros:
- It’s nice to not think about your workout
- You can track your progressive overload (kind of)
- There are many programs to choose from

Cons:
- If you switch an exercise out, that choice doesn’t stay week-to-week in your program so you often need to go back to see if you changed the move
- It doesn’t track your progress if you swap moves out from the default week-to-week
- You can’t choose the rep range you want to work in, 99% of the time they are programming a rep range of 15+ which is time consuming
- If you click on “history” or add a note it cancels out the rest timer
- You have to pay an additional fee if you want to join challenges

Here are some of my suggestions that would improve the app for me:
- Having a section where you can look up any exercise you’ve performed over time where you can look at the history of reps and weight
- Being able to choose rep ranges based on if you’re training for strength, hypertrophy or endurance
- Being able to re-arrange the order of exercises on a workout

User Interface Never Updated

Finally cancelled after using this app for 2 years as it is quite pricey for what you get and the user interface has never been updated/no improvements are actually being made to the app experience itself - i.e. you can only change an exercise if it has the same name(meaning can’t change for another exercise that works the same muscle if it doesn’t have the same terminology in it), if you change the exercise it tracks as the original exercise not the one you swapped for, and if you repeat a workout it already looked complete so makes it hard to track while working out. The last one is extra frustrating because almost ever new workout plan they’ve dropped in the last 1+ years is an additional cost of $60+ dollars, which I don’t want to spend, so I’ve repeated multiple programs and daily workouts instead. For those of you that follow the KKFIT twins, you’re honestly better off stalking them and doing older workouts they posted on their IG page.

Would like to see the app before purchasing

It is essential to add a free version of your app for users to explore before deciding if they would like to purchase a subscription or not. Having people pay for a service on an app that they can’t access otherwise does not prioritize the users needs. Please consider adding a free trial, because I (like many others) like to see how an app works first, and it doesn’t matter how good the program or content is if the app functions poorly.

A little glitchy sometimes on the timers but overall very useful

Love it!

It changed my whole routine, I love the new workouts and I love that it keeps track of my weight. I put myself to go to the gym more because I need to check the boxes. If you’re the type of person that needs “to do lists” to get anything done, you’ll love this app.

I like this app

Overall I like this app. It is kind of basic so hopefully they will continue to do updates. I wish there was a way to look at other workout plans when you are currently on one. I also wish there was a way to add additional exercises to the workout (for instance if I do an additional exercise not on the daily workout plan I haven’t figured out a way to add it to track.)

App glitch

The workouts and food options are great, nothing wrong with that at all. The app itself I would rate 3/5 for the fact it freezes on me EVERY time when using it, making me have to “restart” the workout, and not always saves my progress.

App constantly Freezes

Love the workout but the app is constantly freezing during workout I have to completely close the app and then re loag all the workouts I’ve done. Needs some bugs fixed out

Can’t delete subscription

The app was meh but I did not want to use it anymore and I tried reaching out to support many months in a row and my card kept getting charged and I did not want the service anymore and couldn’t get any help to resolve it. Not cool!

My go to.

I’ve tried a lot of different plans and even worked one on one with coaches, but for consistency, and trusting that you guys understand the physique that women typically want, this is absolutely it. Just finished the glute program❤️ love love

App isn’t good

I bought the $90 program and the app needs a lot of work. Your exercise history doesn’t always carry over. I had done reverse lunges multiple times in the program than on week 5 it showed zero history of me doing reverse lunges. It freezes often. I have had to stop my workout exit the app and then restart the workout in the app. The mobility movements all have timers and there are constantly issues with starting the timer. Quite annoying after paying $90 for a 2 month workout program
