Suddenly stopped working and no Tech Support phone number
This has worked fine until this morning and stopped reporting at 7:35am. Internet is working and even reset and still providing no information.
Unusable
Can't log in. What in the world is site ID, or a "PVS serial number"? Why are these required to create an account, and not, I dunno, my account ID???
Subscription needed to view your own product??
Whoever came up with this idea, I hope you fail in life going forward.
Some power bought out
Well, no one gave us a choice losing a lot. I can’t believe we can no longer get our difference paid back to us
Money money money
Don’t like how I now have to pay to see my daily usage, or monthly reports. When I first got solar in Jan of 22, I didn’t have to pay for those reports. Really upsetting.
Can’t connect to WiFi
I have not been able to connect my system to Wi-Fi, and there is literally nobody in the company that you can talk to about this. Their only solution was that I should pay an electrician to come out and connect to Wi-Fi for me. Ridiculous.
Extremely difficult to connect wifi
This app used to work, but now it’s extremely annoying and difficult to connect wifi. Will not scan for local wifi networks and app does not show adequate progress/feedback on failures.
Too few features included
The old provider (Sun Power) had a very useful app. These people want you to pay for the features that were free before.
They charge you to see your own solar power
Absolutely hate the fact that every feature in this app was available for free and now they want you to pay $100 a year to see your daily, monthly, yearly solar production. I already paid $22k for the panels and the monitoring system. Why do I have to pay another $100 a year to see what my product is doing?

Worst app on my phone
This is a terrible app. It doesn’t update info in a timely fashion and is cumbersome, and expensive.
App no longer works
This app no longer works with my home system. I have tried the self-service trouble shooting tips, which didn’t work, and the company provides no additional phone support.
Sun “not so” strong
SunStrong took over sunpower. On Sunpower, all App services were free. On SunStrong, you have to pay the premium price to get services that were once free on the Sunpower app. No thanks! I’ll continue to use electric company’s billing statements to see my electricity power/usage.
Charging to see output is diabolical!
What a scam! This app provided free monitoring before and now suddenly they are charging for basic monitoring which I believe we are contractually entitled to get. I’m furious and hope they are sued!
The worst
The company tricks you into thinking you can monitor your solar panels with the app. Then they turn around and block your access unless you pay a subscription fee. I would suggest using a different company. I’d rate it a zero if I could.
Terrible revision
The original app was great, now this is nearly worthless unless you pay for premium membership. Seems a rip-off after spending $20k on panels
total scam
I used to be able to access my data when Sunpower was the company name, and now with SunStrong, ai have to pay 100 bucks a year for right to know if my solar panels, which i purchased and paid for, are working properly. Total scam.
Poor documentation and instructions
We needed to reconnect our PVS6 to our new Gateway. We have been unable to connect the PVS to our network. Customer support request 48 hours to respond. We have been unable to deal with it based on the available instructions.
We do not get weather information based on latest release.

Now I have to pay for a plan
Before its name was changed, I was able to access a weekly analysis even a monthly analysis of my home solar, but now that it changed to SunStrong Connect it’s forcing me to get a plan to see my reports. I’m already paying a tremendous amount for my solar panels so now to see how it works. I have to pay more? It doesn’t make any sense.

No way to login or create an account
This is the worst company ever. There’s no support anywhere on the app. It’s impossible to find a help section on there and you can’t do anything unless you have an account the problem is that to create an account you need information that is not available anywhere else since they took over Renova
