The Long Work — a career, in order, with a voice Supernova could always tell you what there was. It could never tell you what you were doing: past the tutorial the honest answer was "more of this, and eventually a row lights up". There is now a 48-chapter campaign. Chapter twelve does not exist until chapter eleven is sealed, so there is exactly one next thing at every depth and it has a name. Nothing ever repeats — every chapter is written once and retired when you seal it. The asks rotate on purpose across eighteen different things a career can do, so it never becomes a depth ladder with prose on it. Six acts, each set on a world your own detonations put on the Atlas. When the written chapters run out, the Atlas keeps setting new ones. Sealing a chapter is a tap, never automatic, because the page is the reward and we would rather not scroll it past you while you are looking at the Forge. The Case — the first thing here you cannot see coming A supernova now sometimes turns something over in the crust. Sixty relics across twenty charted worlds, each with a line about whoever left it there and a hole in the shelf until you find it. Roughly eighteen detonations in a hundred turn one up; twelve without a find makes the next one certain. The odds are printed on the screen. Relics cannot be bought, hurried or re-rolled — not for money, not for photons. Detonating is the only way, which is the thing you were doing anyway. Neither of these grants production The bar you detonate against is paced on your own output, so any permanent multiplier buys one faster run and is absorbed forever after.
