Bluetooth connection lost
This latest update has stopped the app working. The Bluetooth connection doesn’t stay connected for more than 2 minutes. Please fix
More customization
I just started an insulin pump, as a diabetic which is super cool! But the lack of features like setting your exercise or sleep schedule, or even turning on dark mode from inside the app is SUPER ANNOYING! I went with the X2 /specifically/ because I wouldn’t have to change it as often which is great but the fact that I have to activate sleep mode from the pump itself gets me annoyed. I shouldn’t have to dig my pump out from wherever I have it to activate sleep mode just so I can SLEEP! MOBI users get to active sleep and exercise from their app so why can’t X2 users? And NO, I don’t want to talk to anyone from the tech team tandem, I want you to update the app to have these features because I know you can!
Update: App QoL updates can include a built in calculator like the pump itself has and a way to activate activities from the app w/o needing to unlock the pump. Again, I don’t want to talk to the tech team, I want you to bring this review directly to them and ask “Is this possible for our diabetic patients?”
Update 2: Connection issues GALORE with the newest app update. Can’t y’all get /anything/ right?

Won’t stay connected on latest update. App is unusable.
2.13.1 “critical alerts”
Update prompts you to accept critical alerts, now the whole app doesn’t work, even if it did, if this app only works with critical alerts now I will switch cgms, making critical alerts non optional makes you feel like a ticking time bomb around your friends and is not needed when you’ve had diabetes for multiple decades, let people choose this is ridiculous

Suggestion
I wish that this app would connect to Siri, so that while I’m driving by myself or too busy to manually bolus I can tell her to do it for me. This would be a huge lifesaver and such an amazing feature. I feel that there are also so many other people besides me that would benefit from this!

Ich finde die App wirklich gut. Es stehen viele Infos zusammengefasst an einem Ort und das auch noch recht übersichtlich. Bis jetzt habe ich absolut nichts zu meckern 👍🏻⭐️

Der Prozess, die Pumpe mit der App zu verbinden war bei mir leider sehr anstrengend. Es dauerte lange und die Pumpe musste ausgetauscht werden. Man muss sich hier und dort anmelden, da und hier runterladen, Videos schauen etc. etc. Das updaten ist wirklich mies gemacht und wird auf der Website gelobt… verstehe ich nicht… Nun gut. Die App macht was es soll. Man kann damit einen Bolus abgeben. Heutzutage ist die Technik der Pumpen schon sehr weit voraus und die X2 hinkt hinterher. Die App ist gut, übersichtlich und macht was es soll. Man kann damit einen Bolus abgeben, den BZ korrigieren und bekommt Alarme direkt aufs Handy. Den Bolus per App unterwegs eingeben zu können hilft mir sehr und macht meinen Alltag leichter. Die ist genauso wie bei jedem AID System, was es schon seit vielen Jahren gibt… ohne die Dexcom g7 App würde ich diese App aber niemals verwenden. Dafür verliert sie zu schnell den Kontakt zur Pumpe. Im Sekundentakt… außerdem kriegt man wirklich viele Alarme hintereinander. Man kann das nur schlecht einstellen und nicht pausieren und wird doppelt zugespamt, da die Pumpe ja auch alarmiert bzw. vibriert… das nervt. Ansonsten solide. Sollte man unbedingt benutzen, wenn man die X2 hat. Aber Tandem hinkt halt ordentlich den anderen Pumpen hinterher…

Notification update
They need to prolong the notification updates to be longer then what they are at the moment, to be notified that your low every 5 minutes with a high pitched noise at 3am or in public is embarrassing especially as it takes longer than that for your body to react to whatever it is you’ve ingested to help the situation, it also doesn’t help when linked with the Dexcom sensor and have that going off as well, I sound like an ice cream van!!

The app is fine in everyday use. Just don’t try to use the “Help” function’!!
This will just take you round and round in circles without providing any helpful information at all. FAQs do not exist despite what it says on the menu.
Worse still Tandem have been aware of this for ages but have done nothing about it!!

Never connected
It’s super convenient to bolus and check my blood sugar when it’s working, but it is almost never actually connected to my pump. When it does work, though, there isn’t an option to do extended bolus. The notifications are out of control too—I swipe it away and then it’s immediately notifying me again and again.
The app is basically useless though because it’s never connected. It’s been several days since my pump and the app have had connection. Seriously considering switching from tandem now that my warranty is up because of how poorly the app runs, considering the power button on my pump hardly presses, the charging cover doesn’t close anymore, and I’ve already had to replace the pump once for just completely shutting down.

Gut aber fehlen 2-3 Funktionen um sinnvoll zu sein
Die App macht schon das Leben einfacher, da man nicht mehr ständig an die Pumpe muss aber nur Bolus abgeben zu können ist nicht Sinnvoll wenn man später doch an die Pumpe gehen muss um zb eine Aktivität zu starten.
Für mich fehlen einige Funktionen. Ich hoffe, dass Sie daran arbeiten, da sie meiner Meinung nach die App erst richtig komplett machen würden:
1- Warum ist es nicht möglich, die Insulinabgabe über die App zu stoppen oder fortzusetzen?
Das ist manchmal notwendig, und die Pumpe dafür herauszuholen – jetzt, wo ich die App habe – ist einfach nervig. :-(
2- Das ist mir sogar noch wichtiger: Warum kann ich meine persönlichen Pumpenprofile nicht über die App ändern?! Das ist die Funktion, die ich am häufigsten nutze, besonders vor dem Sport. Auch das wäre für mich eine absolute Pflichtfunktion für die App.
3-Es wäre zumindest großartig, wenn man die Sport-Aktivität über die App aktivieren könnte.

Operating at half potential
This app, although very convenient is only partially completed. The app allows you to bolus from your phone, but will not allow you to acknowledge and cancel the alerts that constantly arise during pump operation. This forces you to bring out the pump and manually acknowledge and cancel the alarm that has been beeping, at usually the most inopportune time. The software team at Tandem should finish the job and upgrade this app with total capacity to run your pump discretely from your phone.

It says it connected but when I try and since my data and actually use the pp it won’t let me , I’ve tried everything that the doctors and website had told me to do, it says it is a technical issue error
Pump Real-time Data??
Your competition has near realtime pump, insulin data telemetry; how about a caregiver app that lets us help our kids maintain sites, pump battery, insulin levels… y’all are so slow on features 😑

Just needs a widget
I love having the option to bolus from my phone. Would be nice if more pump features were available in the app. A widget that I could add to my Home Screen to show my glucose with the directional arrow would be innovative. I can see the remaining fuel and mileage I can travel in my car with a widget, and having the option to add my blood sugar reading on my phone screen would be a game changer. Please share with your developers.
