Pathetic service
All is well untill unless you face an issue. And then suddenly you are down a hell road. I ordered my products from this app and they delivered me completely different items. The package had two stickers of addresses,pne mine and one another person’s. I opened the package infront of delivery guy and he insisted to request a return. My biggest mistake. I immediately reached out to chat support with all the info and all I received a ticket number and an assurance of resolution after investigation within 48hrs. After 48 hrs I reached out to chat support and had to go through all the explanations all over again. I received another ticket number. I then requested a call back and the executive called me again same resolution within 48 hrs. The cycle of 48 hrs is never ending. all the proofs and testimony from delivery guy is not enough. They even rejected my return request. Now i am stuck with products of a random guy and i cant even use it. And a pathetic app where my money is stuck which has nothing to provide except ticket numbers. Just delete my account on your platform and i am switching to another app for good!!

Multiple patients in the same account
One challenge that i face regularly is when i order medicines for my wife and myself. I have to explain to the doctor as to which medications are for me and which ones are for my wife. I would lime to suggest that patient be created within my account and prescriptions be assigned to a particular profile. That way when i need to order medicines for myself, i simply order the medication as per the prescription attached to that profile and similarly for my wife.
A second challenge that i face is regarding alternate medications suggested by the app as being less expensive. If the medication’s composition is the same for both the original and the proposed economical substitute, why do i still need to speak to a doctor?

Delivery issues
They quote the medicines will be delivered in 60 minutes. After three hours they open a ticket for medicines not being delivered and ask for us to wait 24 hours for resolution. The resolution 90% of the times is that the logistics team said the area was not serviceable. If the area is not serviceable wouldn’t the logistics team know it before hand, or do they always get to work after the order is out for delivery. I have faced this issue 4 times so far. And it’s medications they are delivering not chocolates. Very disappointed by this Tata brand. 😤😤😤

I stopped ordering because their prices are the highest and service levels just ok. So then why pay more ?
Unacceptable Service – Failed to Deliver Critical Medication
I am beyond disappointed with Tata 1mg. I used their service because I am currently suffering from a severe, painful stomach infection. My doctor prescribed critical medication to treat the bacterial infection and manage the intense pain.
I placed an order specifically because the app promised delivery within 27 minutes. I waited for hours with no updates and no communication. When I finally reached out to customer support, I was repeatedly told the order was "being packed" and "on its way."
The result? They delivered the ORS I ordered but omitted the actual medicine required for my treatment. When I followed up again, I was told the medicine would now arrive 5 to 6 days from today.
This is a healthcare platform, not a typical e-commerce site. A patient cannot put their physical pain or a bacterial infection "on hold" for a week because of logistical incompetence and misleading delivery windows. Their support was dismissive and failed to provide a real solution.
If you are in urgent need of medicine, do not trust Tata 1mg. Their lack of accountability and false promises are dangerous when someone’s health is on the line.

Don’t book for a health package especially with radiology tests involved
I have been using Tata 1 mg for almost 3 years now and I have had hassle free experience of their lab tests and getting the reports on time. But this time I booked for a health package which included radiology tests. The blood sample was taken the next day as usual and got the reports by the same day. But for radiology tests which needs to be done at a Center that Tata 1 mg has a tie up with. They kept delaying the tests for over a week saying the doctor is not available and all. Finally I got an appointment after a week to a Center called “Aarthi scans &labs”. The appointment was at 12pm and I reached there on time. ECG was done and for scan they made us wait for 3 hours for no reason. There were no patients and the doctor was also available. But still they kept delaying giving lame reasons. Also the place was very unhygienic and the staff there have bad attitude and least care about the patient. after waiting for 3 hours they called us for scan and made my mom lie down for more than 20 minutes and the doctor was gone again. And when he got back he hardly did the scan for 5 minutes. How do I trust the reports I get from such a pathetic Center? Are you not doing a background check before tying up with such centres? Now I even doubt how the blood tests are done and in which centres and if it is genuine or not. I would not recommend getting any test booked from this at all. Book at your own risk.

Worst app for medicine delivery
This app is a joke when it comes to delivering medicines on time. My order reached my city, but instead of delivering it, they just kept it with them and fixed the delivery date as 1st October. Who waits when it’s medicine? I ran out of stock, but they don’t care.
Customer care is completely useless. There’s no proper number to call, only a chatbot that does nothing. I even tricked them by calling the number where you can place new medicine orders. When I asked that lady to connect me to someone who can help with my order, she said they can’t do anything and told me to write an email. I wrote the email, but even after 2 days, there was no reply. Forget solving my problem, they didn’t even bother to respond.
This is not shopping, this is about health. 1mg clearly doesn’t care if patients suffer. If you value your health, don’t depend on this app.

Why add address manually when already saved to address book ?
This is a useless feature and a hassle for a user if they want to place order - they have to manually enter it or to the current location only. What is the use of the address book when the user will not be allowed to simply select an address and proceed to place order ??? Basically you do bot want the users to place orders for their parents / dependents?

Rather buy near by store this is one of the worst service by 1mg, 2-3 weeks after paid order they will canceled without informing fake!

I could find almost all allopathy and ayurvedic meds that I needed. I was notified about delivery immediately and even delivery was seamless.
Bad delivery experience of Tata 1mg
I ordered several times from Tata 1mg and every time the delivery is out through a third party delivery partner. I normally order medicines for my father and as we are unable to get in contact with the delivery person, package gets delayed. Although the address is given in the order, the delivery person nevers shows up. I had to scroll through Tata 1mgs website for help and then I realised that they just have a chatbot and no service Center to help with order delivery. This delivery partner forwards a phone number of delivery guys which is always invalid. Therefore, practically we can not reach out to them. They don’t even show their address online so that we can go there ourselves to pickup the order. Tata 1mg is a mess. The reason for ordering from this app is that few products are unavailable in market near by my home. What is the use of buying when the product won’t reach the address in given time?
The phone number I had registered is sometimes with me when I am abroad. So my phone is not reachable. There is no option to make changes in order to inform delivery guys to call on other number.

2Stars for just for app database as i am the old users of 1mg when it was not “tata1mg”and the credit gos to the original developers.
I had order some medicine more than 24 hour, and after getting multipel confirmation call from Dr s, vendor, call Center asking why I am ordering, although provided prescription and explain everything about the patient. They confirm that they will send the order and it was said to be “express delivery”. Now the condition of “Express delivery” is. I am waiting for my the medicine last more than 24 hours now and that time goes delayed and delayed. They used to deliver my medicines. 3 Pm yesterday. Then it changed the delivery time 7 PM, 10:10 PM now. It is showing 10 AM morning. God knows either. I will get medicine or not. They just wanted to make us the member and pay them first.

No professionalism
Booked a test. Cancelled my other plans and no one showed up to pick up the sample. When I booked the test I received 4 messages saying Be ready, Order confirmed etc. When the time came - no communication nothing and when I tried calling the system couldn’t identify any booking even though I was using the same phone number. Then I had to go through the app find the hidden chat option under my tests and then chat with the agent to reschedule. There should be some accountability here. People are fasting and waiting for the tests to be done. You can’t just not show up and not tell the patients.
