I am very disappointed with the recent customer support experience. I contacted Tata Play Customer Care regarding a channel refresh issue and spent almost 30 minutes on the call. I provided all required details, including the set-top box number and card information, and followed multiple instructions to restart the device. However, the issue was not resolved.
After disconnecting the call, I contacted my local dealer, from whom I purchased the setup. They refreshed the service, and it started working immediately within seconds.
This has caused unnecessary inconvenience and wasted my valuable time. I request better technical support efficiency to ensure customers do not face such issues in the future.

Most irritating DTH. One of the worst Apps that a man with common sense comes across in his life time.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Tata Play. I raised a complaint regarding a network issue, which occurred despite normal weather conditions (no rain or thunder). Instead of resolving the actual issue, your technician claimed that my set-top box was old and replaced it with a new one. However, without informing me, you continued the services on the old box and started charging me for both the old and new boxes. This is completely unfair and unacceptable. I never requested multiple connections, and I was not told about any additional charges or dual billing. I request that the charges for the old box be reversed immediately and that the old service be deactivated without any penalty. I expect a prompt resolution and refund for the incorrect charges

Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Promises and No Refund!
I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Tata Play DTH. At the time of taking the subscription, I was clearly told that I would receive a refund upon surrendering the set-top box and dish. However, now that I’m cancelling my subscription, I’m being informed that no refund will be provided, despite returning the equipment in good condition.
This is completely misleading and unethical. If refund terms have changed, why wasn’t I informed earlier? Or was this just false assurance given to close the sale? Either way, this reflects extremely poor customer service and a lack of transparency.
Tata Play used to be known for its trustworthiness, but this experience has changed my perception completely. I do not recommend Tata Play to anyone who expects honesty and fair treatment.
