Old functionality was better
App is now laggy and I need to scroll more than before to view item details. I also miss the swipe feature to go back a screen.
Glitch after glitch
The app never works anymore. I can’t save items, the heart icon has disappeared on many items. I can’t even close out of an item if I want to return to a search, the “X” has disappeared! I have to close the app and go back into my saved searches every time. Too clunky to even use anymore.
Awful Service
Don’t bother with this service they are unserious. I’ve been a customer for years. Recently all my orders were cancelled with no explanations. Their support team does not provide any solution and will never follow up. I’ve deleted the app and deleted my account. I’ve never seen a company like this one.

The shipping cost is high and the packaging is very poor.
Won’t return my item
I gave a bracelet to them. They wanted to give me thousands and thousands less than appraisal value. I’ve now been trying to get said bracelet back over a month. They also listed it under another sku when it was supposed to be shipped back. I turned them into BBB

Bad customer service they tell you we will call you back to resolve a problem but they never do . And customer service answering people located in India

I like the RealReal. I do. I have been buying and selling here for years. However…. You have to be very diligent when BOTH buying and selling. KNOW your item. Do you research and do not trust the written descriptions alone. When I send items in, I often have to send an email asking for a correction. Things like the hardware color on a bad will be listed as gold, when they are actually silver, or a model name will be incorrect. Sometimes, even the dimensions of something are incorrect. I had to get an exception to return an item once because the stated dimensions were wrong. This is pretty annoying. That said, you can usually get these types of issued corrected. And, I have found some nice items here. If you don’t mind having to really do your research, it may be worth it.

Saves disappeared with the new update
All of my saved collections have completely disappeared with the latest update I was forced to do. The updates get worse and worse. On top of that most of the pictures of the items are incorrect as are the descriptions. I’ve had to email support on several occasions about items to find out if the size listed or the picture was incorrect. Truly disappointing.

Good for buying TERRIBLE for selling
I highly regret consigning high quality items on TRR. They sold them for a decent price and the percentage I got was pennies, it was laughable and infuriating. Never again!

I have never had so many problems trying to sell anywhere in my life. just don’t do it. the app is filled with bugs and is outdated and it’s a real headache to set up anything.
Errors Abound
Constantly listing the wrong sizes, wrong colours, styling things backwards, charging too much for shipping and return fees are very annoying. Perks for sellers aren’t enough.
Poor images, Poor Descriptions, Never shipped
Exactly as the title says, had to spend hours between their email CS and text CS team to get the order canceled and not shipping well beyond their average fulfillment time. I was hesitant to purchase as their images and descriptions were poor to begin with.

They are amazing with customer support even returning things that are not refundable if you have a real issue
