It works!!

I use Timeshifter at least twice a year on long haul flights. I follow the plan at home before I leave and same on return back to Australia. jet lag is always minimal. I’m a big fan and use Timeshifter on all my long international flights. I think the price is well worth the return of not having to suffer through days of jet lag. It’s a wonderful tool! ( I suffered badly from jet lag for many years before discovering TimeShifter. )

Helps a lot with jet lag

Helps with my jet lag in a meaningful way. Adjusting your sleep, caffeine intake and sunlight makes a big difference. Highly recommend!

Works great!

First trip is free, so I used it for a trip to Europe from the West Coast. The last time I made this trip, I was falling asleep everywhere. This time, I had so much more energy to enjoy all the sightseeing. If you’re a frequent long-distance traveller, I would highly recommend it.

Worked for me

Just took a week trip from Michigan to Oregon. I used the Timeshifter app to prepare. I was unable to follow every detail of the app because of things on my schedule; however, I was able to follow most of it. It did work as I had no jet lag whatsoever.

I will give it a go again in a couple weeks on a transatlantic trip. Hopefully it will work just as well then and I can report back.

Excellent

I’m the only adult on our trip that slept on the plane and didn’t have jet lag!

Managing jet lag effectively

Followed the app’s advice and experienced insignificant jet lag on my recent trip to Europe. Highly recommended for travellers.

Worked great!

I traveled from Philly to Korea (13 hour difference) and back and followed the advice from the app 98%. I had zero jet lag!

It worked!

At first, I was unsure about this app but traveling to Australia from the USA, I had nothing to lose. It worked wonderfully. I’m not sure how it will work going home, but I’m definitely going to give it a try.

Fantastic!

I did a trip to Europe and back from Sydney. No jet lag on arrival in Europe. Usually the trip back makes re-adjusting difficult, but I had minimal jet lag and the following days were fine. A top app and will use it now for any time zone changes.

It actually works

When I travel London to Sydney i usually have awful jet lag for about 10 days. I tried Timeshifter and stuck to the plan (even using a sun lamp under my sleeping bag on the flight while everyone was asleep!) and about 50 hours after arriving in Sydney I felt normal again. It’s not fun sticking to the plan sometimes when all you want is sleep but it is so worth it. I’ve already subscribed for my trip back to the UK.

Really works

As someone who suffers really badly from jet lag and travels a lot, this app is a game changer. I have travelled from Australia and China using it and while I have had some moderate effects when not following strictly - waking up a few times at night but then going back to sleep- they have cleared by day 3. Amazing. Highly recommend.

Simple, easy and effective

I was skeptical this would work given how simple the app looked and simple the instructions were. I wasn’t able to adhere to the plan 100% but still didn’t experience any noticeable jet lag.
I greatly appreciate how the first trip is free and highly recommend this app to those traveling abroad.
The only thing I would improve is showing the time at both locations on the timeline. Maybe one side as the current time and the other side with the future time zone.

We use Timeshifter regularly and it always works well in mitigating jet lag! Particularly useful is when to have caffeine and avoid it. We have opted for decaf on morning departures where the app advises against caffeine. Highly recommend.

Great Help to Minimize Jet lag!

I’ve used this app 3 times now & it has helped tremendously. Most recently I flew from Denver to Oslo & tried to follow the plan as close as possible. There were a couple of times it was difficult to sleep due to airline serving dinner, etc. When we were in Oslo our friends kept saying they couldn’t believe how much energy we had. We had told them about the app but they didn’t use it. Now we’ve been home 4 nights and are pretty close to our regular sleep pattern. I only had 1 night I had a little trouble sleeping. I highly recommend this app!

Used Timeshifter for the first time to help with jet lag travelling from Canada to Vietnam, with a stopover in Istanbul. It was fantastic. I was the only one in our group who didn’t have jet lag upon arrival. Highly recommend!

One of the best apps on my phone

The program simple, easy to implement and effective. It’s been a game changer as my work travel has ramped up.

worked!

I used this app and I genuinely had little jet lag on my return to Australia. I like the way it starts preparing you a couple of days out from your trip. It’s great value.

Only suitable if you can sleep during flights

Great premise, but fails to ask you the most important question, and then bases its entire plan on an assumed answer of yes: Can you sleep during flights?

If you don’t already reliably sleep through flights, don’t bother with this app. Its plan for you would be worse than just sleeping/eating earlier/later before your flight, like people have been doing informally since forever.

Oh, look what we have here, a marketing reply to my review. Sorry, but the fact remains: If you are changing time zones enough to want an app to help, then the app can’t ignore that fact that it is your sleep schedule that needs to adjust, and to adjust that it needs to explicitly account for whether or not you can sleep on aircraft.

Perfect

Updating my previous review to say everything is perfect now. Just did a round trip with a 9 hour time difference and I had 0 jet lag

Super helpful

Just tried Timeshifter for the first time and found it very helpful. Wasn’t able to follow it precisely (mainly had to alter bedtimes a bit) but overall still has very insignificant jet lag unlike many other trips in the past. Great simple to use app. Check it out!
