This app is amazing

Whenever you completed your workout it gave you a summary and how much weight you lifted in all. It also let you filled out what weight you used for each workout and when ever you didn’t know what to do there is a YouTube video under each workout. This app is and easy 5 stars.

LS Fit- Luke Symonds

Very immature coach . Don’t recommend signing up to any programs he is offering. Blocks and deletes people over a minor inconvenience and doesn’t allow time to resolve issue. Stay away from his programs !!

Constant Upselling

The app is pretty decent, although not nearly as fluid to use as Macrofactor Workouts. However, I just can’t get over the constant nags to pay more money. I already am paying for a program, please stop asking for even more money.

Unusable: Buggy. 1st time my PT used this

Basically this app is unusable for me for my PT prescribed exercises. Sending her the news she’ll have to send them via email instead.
Downloaded today. Working from my Mac using latest version Tahoe. Hangs up after the first video prescribed by my PT. Plays it but doesn’t let me return to list. Screen is tiny as tho mirroring a phone. Can see a timer peeking out from home window (I presume) in upper R corner but can’t click out of video window to reach it. Have to close the app each time I want to go to the next vid. The videos didn’t save properly. The exact same vid shows up under the “Prep” category for each exercise. Same with the “Strength/Power” section. Have let her know. Also had bugs at create account screen which didn’t show captcha at first. Rebooted app and found it but then it still hung up 3 times (had to close app each time). At one point I could see some backend verbiage at bottom peaking out from some other unknown window. Very strange.

Slow

The app is good for tracking workouts but app itself is the slowest app I have ever encountered. There are times I have to open and close the app numerous times with no result forcing me to try again at a later time. I have had it for years and updated multiple times still no change. Also after logging a workout and closing the app it will be gone when I open the app again forcing me to log again. I love the app haven’t deleted but that’s probably because I’m used to it and don’t know what app to get instead. I plan to find something new if I can and there are no changes to this one.

Great!

I enjoy using the app. Very easy to navigate and follow. The variety of plans to follow has something for any goal. My only gripe about the app/ something I would like to see in an update is an easier way setting up your weekly routine. Most plans will generate a plan with built in rest and working days, I’d rather be able to set those days on my own and the plan fills in around this. Otherwise I’m constantly having to manually adjust the days on my own to align with my personal schedule and availability. For example if I want my rest days to be Tuesday/ Thursday, I can format this as I’m choosing to add a plan to my calendar and the plan will only schedule workouts on the remaining days that are not rest days. It’s tedious to have to go back and adjust the entire plan.

Hi there, Thanks for leaving a review and sharing your feedback. I have logged your thoughts and opinions to share with the team. It would be great to be able to tell the software what days are rest and work days and the program to then be placed in the calendar around your personal schedule. If you have any further feedback or questions, be sure to reach out to us at support@trainheroic.com.

Just awful

Really bad user experience all around.
Most frustrating is that if you miss a session it messes up the schedule of your entire program. Sure, you can move a single session, but what I am sick for a week?! Other apps just push the plan back keeping the order of sessions. Not this app! Sessions stay on the day they were originally scheduled whether you completed them or not. Now I’ve got week 1 sessions mixed in with week 5. It’s a mess.

And there doesn’t seem to be a way to get an overview of the whole plan.

I get that coaches like an easy way to deliver plans, but as an end user this is utter trash. Can’t wait to finish my program and never come back.

Zero history

As soon as you stop your subscription you loose access to all the historical data you paid for over months and months. All those training sessions, gone. Epic BS.

Can’t even sign up

Keeps telling me email invalid

Lagging on launch

Lags alot of the time when opening and wont let you load new workouts 100% of the time, other then that a wicked app

Website

I do not like the fact that the website is no longer supporting access to the workouts.

Frustrating

Freezes, slow, crashes. Only using it because that’s what paragon uses.

Poor app.

There is no laptop/desktop interface. Difficult to use. I bought a program and I’ll never use it because it uses this app.

Not a good app, hard to use, can’t modify easily enough

Been using the app for over a month now and sorry to say, but it kind of sucks. Programs are very limited, tough to import your own, actually not sure if you even can, adding exercises to a program that you have imported is a pain and you can’t alter the order of the exercises themselves, which is ridiculous. It’s also tough to find exercises when you search for them, you have to get the name exactly right and there’s multiple entries for some exercises so if you don’t get the exact entry, then it’s like you’ve never done the exercise in the past even though you have. Overall, very disappointed in it and definitely not worth the price that they’re asking.

Bad

Constantly glitches. Timers always just disappear randomly so you have no idea how long you’ve been resting for etc. If all my past workouts weren’t saved in this app I’d get rid of it straight away.

Keeps saying email invalid

Can’t use this app. It keeps saying my email is invalid and not create and account. I’ve tried 3 different emails. Support isn’t responding.

Repeat programs

I have tried to remove programs from my calendar that are posted multiple times. I have removed the program and added it multiple times and all it does is put it in there twice. Super annoying to navigate when you have so many programs repeated in the calendar. They need to fix this asap

Calendar won’t sync w/library

I’ve used this app for years and it’s been really good. But am now encountering an annoying bug. I’ve always edited my calendar via the library. But now I can’t remove programs I added to preview from the calendar. I’ve signed out and in, deleted and replaced app and restarted iPhone. So annoying. But app is awesome so I hope they can find a fix!

Good workouts poor app

I’ve removed a program from my calendar plenty of times yet it refuses to delete, making this confusing and unusable.

App Glitches

The workouts themselves are great, which is why I gave this app 3 out of 5 stars. However, the app experience needs improvement.

I’ve noticed that it tends to glitch at the most inconvenient times — especially during workouts. For example, when trying to look up the next exercise or track progress, the app will randomly log me out or time out. Even after logging back in, it sometimes immediately times out again.

This creates a frustrating experience, particularly when you’re in the middle of a workout and trying to stay focused.

Overall, the programming and workouts are solid, but the app’s stability and reliability definitely need work.
