Rubbish

Honestly - this is a total joke. I booked through booking.com, then this rubbish management company got in contact, they had to change the booking as the original apartment was double booked…….seemed so dodgy so I contacted booking.com who refunded me.
I then made a new booking and it turned out again to be managed by this rubbish company, and again there was a problem with the property and they have to offer me an alternative (red flags again).

Then they make you download an app which is in Indonesian and makes zero sense. They now want me to upload my ID and pay a deposit through and app that isn’t even in English…..

DO NOT USE THEM

They didn’t refund me. They claimed interest and huge penalty on the electric bill that comes after the departure. 2% per day and huge penalty. How could I know?
They charge you for all repairs and all breaks and after 24 hours. So the fridge after 1 day. You broke it. The windows were not fully closed and after 6 months which was my stay, NEVER repaired. Their tech come and forget a screw so they will back in an hour and never show up and you have to make a new appointment that could take 2 weeks sometimes more. DO NOT rent from them.

Travelio isn’t a travel service; it’s a TRAP. They utilize high-pressure tactics to get you to commit, but once you’ve anchored your money with them, the "Oops" cycle begins. You’ll be met with a series of moving requirements —mandatory app downloads and scheduled calls—that feel more like a performance than a booking process. Because everything is strictly non-refundable, they have zero incentive to actually help you once they’ve hit their quota. They also have so many disjointed teams so you’ll be sent to teams after teams like a ping pong ball. They count on you being too exhausted to fight for your money back. Don’t give them the satisfaction.

I Never Leave Reviews, But This Experience Was Too Awful to Ignore

I’m not the type to write reviews, but this experience with Travelio made me genuinely angry. The room was far worse than advertised — dirty, smelly, and poorly maintained. The mattress had stains, the bathroom was disgusting, and everything felt unhygienic.

Their customer service made it even worse. No phone number to call, just a useless chat box with painfully slow responses. They said they’d send someone to clean, but no one ever came.

Honestly, this was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend Travelio to anyone.

Worst Accommodation Experience Ever, False Advertising and Terrible Service

I booked a room via Travelio in Indonesia, and the reality was a huge letdown compared to the pictures. The room was extremely dirty—stained mattress, unwashed toilet, and grimy sink. It was nothing like what was advertised.

To make matters worse, when we tried to contact them the next day about these issues, their response was ridiculously slow. They only offer a chat box as the communication channel—no phone support at all. They promised to send someone to clean but never followed up and kept us waiting for ages.

This app deserves 0.5 stars at most. Save your money and time—avoid Travelio at all costs!

I booked with Travelio for the first time, and I am exceedingly disappointed. Never booking with you again and I pray you go out of business trying to scam people like this! You should be dropped from the App Store!

Despite clear clauses in their contract to allow for refunds in case of, AC failure and room damage and water damage and safety. There are CLEAR signs of mold (the plaster is soaked through) the AC leaks like crazy.

Their team is completely unsupportive and insisting on dragging out a clear case of misrepresentation and what should be an immediate refund to ‘see if someone can fix it’.

Unacceptable. Unreasonable. Do not book!

Updated: I’ve already reported the issue less than 1 hour after check in, you are not providing any support, continuously trying to push units as replacements that have less features for lower cost without any acknowledgment of fault by the unit owner or yourself.

Uang 9 juta d ambil, furniture rusak, kulkas berjamur / lampu, rambut berserakan, airandi gk jalan, lantai sama meja furniture lengket. Tempat gak di bersihin sebelum d sewakan, customer service pada bego, gak ada tanggung jawab. Gak d tempatin uang gk d balikin. Don’t trust any company in Indonesia , go for Traveloka or Airbnb. TRAVELIO IS SCAM

The worst experience ever!

I booked 2 units in one apartment building. The web gave me option to use different name for guest, while booking from my account. So I wrote my name and a friend as guest for those 2 units. Not only the room boy came 1 hour late, the communication was a mess, and the customer service was slow in responding. The web and app was not connected, so I had to fill so many forms through WA chat despite already filled everything on the web. To return the deposit I had to wrote 3 statement letters just to prove that the different name I wrote for the guest in-fact was me using my own account, and still, the CS was not happy and kept telling me to wrote statement letter. THE WORSE EXPERIENCE IN BOOKING, CHECKING IN, AND DEPOSIT PAYMENT. Not recommended, will never use this app again.

Bad CS, Bad Facility, and Bad Experience

Just unbelievably terrible experience. They’ll charge you if there’s a trouble in the facility after 2x24hrs despite not your fault at all. Some essential facilities are just broken: Air Con, Access Card, and Sink.

Their communication to customers is also disastrous.

I should have read what people write on X/Twitter about Travelio before I booked their room. Some people got charged for 500k IDR for little stain on the linen. Some other got a trouble with deposit. Disaster service. This company wont do well with this kind of service and I feel pity with their staff, cause at this point, their business won’t be sustainable with tons of negative experience and feedback. For employees working on Travelio: Get another job soon. Your ship is sinking and you wont be happy working with negative feedback from customers—including if you read this comment.

Stay away from Travelio , they are scammer and bad customer service

Book for a month , but the place not even ready and mold everywhere, hair , dust , shower broken. Talk to multiple customer service but they don’t know what they are doing , ask for refund , not even stay for single night because horrible place , photo on ads are fake , they don’t do maintenance, they just care about taking your money and ripped you off , and by living in Indoesia even worse, cause this kind of scam are culture. So better be careful.. just use Airbnb or Traveloka

Stay away from Travellio especially El hotel/ apartment

Just look for Airbnb or other agency, they just want to take your money and would never responsible for complaint. They are not stand on your side. This Travelio SCAM ! stay away from this SCAMMER and thanks me later
