Lack of up to date information
This app is a waste of my time. Even when I am notified of new information available to me by email, the app never had the updated information. I am on the phone with Tricare daily to manage my referrals and authorizations.
Logging in
Login is not user friendly. It takes about 5 or 6 attempts before I can log in.
Can’t login.
I’ve changed my password twice and the app will just not allow me to login. It’s broken. Very unprofessional.
Can’t Login, So…..
Click the DS Login button and I get a white screen that still has the blue head/foot bars with the home button. That’s it. It’s been this way since the last update 4 months ago.
DS LOGON
Using ds logon is a pain since you need to hunt and find which authentication app was used with ds logon. Other then that BIG glitch it would be a good site. If only DS LOGON could be consistent with how to login. But I have like three different DS LOGON to deal with.
No “Appointment” Tab!
Why I can’t find your appointment tab when I like to make an appointment? Isn’t this supposed to be the most important section of your app? I gave you 2 stars only because I feel generous today.
Very difficult for a senior to navigate
This app was not designed to assist seniors who need it!
Crazy over complicated!
I swear, as a retired military veteran, I have had secret clearances and they weren’t that difficult to log on to and check as this Tri care east! app?? Nuts, hello this is not a Bank account! Over redundant, unnecessary I give a F- just call them and flood their switch board, because the app log in process is AWFUL!

Can’t Login!!
I came to the reviews to see if anyone else was having the same issue as me. It looks like I’m not the only one frustrated with the login process with this app. I am able to login using browser on my laptop with username and password, then 2FA with a code sent to my phone. Too easy! I then try to use the same username and password with code sent to my phone within the app and it says I am entering the wrong credentials!! I have deleted and reinstalled the app. Turned phone off then back on. Checked multiple times to verify I’m entering the correct credentials in both places. Still doesn’t work.

log in too complicated
Password requirements are impossible!
The password requirements are way too complicated and overwhelming. I can never get into this app and it takes hours to go through reset hoops to login

Epic Failure not user friendly I could die before this works
Can’t log on app but can log on computer
After checking and rechecking my credentials, I’m able to log on the computer with credentials but the app won’t let me. It even sends code to verify my email address. I hit the continue button but then tells me my credentials are wrong but they’re not.

There’s too much confusion when logging on. Too many ways to log on. I miss being able to just do Face ID that was so convenient.
It was a great app until I moved to Tricare-west!
Very frustrating that there isn’t a Triwest app. When I lived in the Tricare east region, I could easily track things on this app, now that I live in the Triwest region, there is no way of tracking, the website is useless and it doesn’t let me log in. Just frustrating!
App login is broken
TRICARE as a health insurance is nice, but oh my god please fix the app. I went through the whole process of double checking my userid, resetting my password, getting the verification code so many times that it’s in the double digits and after all of that, I eventually just tried logging in on the website and I did it just fine, no problems at all. For other people reading this, please just use the website. This app, as of 5/5/26, isn’t worth using.
