Safety first

As a once upon a time motorcycle rider, I became very conscious of other drivers. This has helped me to remember those days and NOT take for granted that everyone SEES me!

Inaccurate, not real time speed limits and Flock cameras use this data

This is probably the most inaccurate AI app I’ve used to date. Braking, speed and distractions used for evaluation. Doesn’t take into account actual violations like running a stop sign, unlawful lane changes, felony speed levels, or near accidents caused by the driver. No, you get penalized for your electric car braking as part of recharging the battery, or a “distraction” because you hit “go” on your GPS. And speeding? The most inaccurate feature of all. It uses old speed limit information so if you’re in a former construction zone that returned to the original speed limit, this app still assesses you on the old construction speed limit. That means it doesn’t update real time. This BS is measuring what you’ll pay and it’s a scam. Flat out scam. No, GPS tracking cannot accurately predict braking, speed, or spying on your phone activities for “distractions” means you allow Flock cameras to collect intelligence on you through Hartford’s app. You still think this is worth it? And yes, speeding is defined by not going exactly the speed limit the moment the sign is in the section. There is no grace for slowing down to the new limit. There is no acceptance of them having inaccurate speed zone information (outdated information). Junk app.

Easy to use

It’s easy to use but, it definitely makes mistakes. The “ braking” detection is too sensitive.
I’ve tested it- going 25 to stop. Unless you ride the brakes for about 45 seconds, you’ll get a “hard braking“ notification.
The “phone distraction” needs a bit more attention also. Often, if I’m the driver, using Google Maps, my daughter will tap my phone if there’s an alternate route pop-up.

I like that it keeps a trip log

For years I have used several different. Trip log apps for to track business, personal and medical mileage for tax proposes only to have to go back and verify each trip. But my wife has chronic liver failure nearly all of our travel is for medical purposes so this app has made it easy to track. And the estimate premium saving is an added perk along with the ability to track how I drive that sometime we are not cognizant of like looking down at phone or distracted driving thank so much

Precision

The incorrect think is that it was recording a trip I took Uber with another driver driving me through
