Amazing
I’ve been with TymeBank for 5 years now, they’ve been updating everything that used to annoy me! Now the only thing left is Apple Pay capabilities, which unfortunately is still not available…
My POV
The App is fast and easy to navigate through but it lacks critical features like deposit and withdrawal controls otherwise it is very easy to user friendly, it even allows users access without having Data, you just need to make sure that the mobile data is switched on
Push notifications
I really have a problem with the push messages, once one opens the app there is nowhere where you can read these messages. Can we not have an option inside the app( if you understand me) where we can go to read all the messages you send? Will appreciate it. Reason being that when you open the app the messages disappear

Tymebank Business
Apple app don’t have a business account option on the app for iphone and now internet banking is also not working anymore to reset online password so now I have no way to do payments from my business account via eft on my iphone or transfer to my personal account. I used to love my Tymebank account but it seems its not a priority for them to add business account to ios systems and now I can’t run my business or finances efficiently and they don’t respond just ignore my query

Feedback on App Security vs. Features
I’m concerned that the Time Bank app uses a lot of resources (e.g., over 250MB) for non-essential features like visual effects and the lotto function. Meanwhile, scammers are still managing to spoof official-looking messages and target users like my friend, whose account was almost compromised.
It’s clear that security should be a bigger focus than flashy effects. Please consider reducing the app’s resource load and investing more into fraud protection and user security, such as message verification, two-factor authentication, and scam education.

Most easy-to-use banking app I’ve ever had
You can earn a decent amount of interest on Goalsaves and withdraw however much you want without closing or emptying it. EFT is also easy to figure out and I love that I can instantly withdraw and deposit without having to wait a long time. Just wish there was an option to edit your personal and account info as I’ve had a legal name change and now will have to call Tyme Bank just to change it. Also easy to change card pin quickly.

No provision for alternate verification, if you change your mobile
This morning I attempted to login and the system wanted to send an OTP to a number I haven’t had since five years, but there’s no provision to use alternate verification channel such as email registered email
iPhone version doesn’t allow removal of old beneficiaries
Often, I pay/send money to someone once and only once. But these accumulate unless I log into the web version (online banking website) and delete from there. My snag right now is that my access stopped working there, so now I’m a bit stuck with a growing list of people I may never send money to again. This increases risk of sending money to the wrong person.

I like the app. Not the best user interface. Not much you can do with the app. Its just "OK".
I would love if you guys implemented a better format of the bank statement. I cant use my tymebank bank statement to verify my address when registering for anything that requires proof of address. If possible i would love that on the next update. It would make life much more easier.
Also i dont get the use of an encrypted bank statement. I have to go through so many steps to remove it to do exactly what i explained on the above paragraph. Personally find no use of it.
Overall experience:
1. Good security
2. Good for a simple individual who doesnt want any complicated user interface with alot of options

Buggy
The app frequently prompts the “oops! Something went wrong” message. It’s a very buggy app and can be frustrating to use
3 years and NO update
I have recently opened a business account and noticed that after 3 years you still don’t have business account capabilities on the tyme bank app. In 3 years you could have even made a second business app for iPhone if getting both business and personal accounts on the existing app is too hard. Look into this. We have updates on the app every week but no progress.

I can’t access my accounts
I am so frustrated with this Tyme bank. I haven’t been able to access my account for over 2 months now. Through both the app and internet banking. The app just keeps loading for hours, while internet banking just shows white. Tyme bank said they are fixing the issue but there hasn’t been any changes. I country send the money in my account into the savings one, so I have lost on interests for 2 months now.

3 years ago there was a request from a client for IOS users but to this day no update has been made to accommodate us I struggle every single time I need to access my business account i have to delete my app and download it on a different phone from mine, please heed to our request because we keep

From Good to Worse
The new app version is absolutely HORRIBLE. Simply completing a task like playing the lottery or buying electricity is an absolute mess. One has to trial every tile to get to what they want to do.
1. Work on the layout. All banking apps almost follow the same layout and navigation. There is no use in trying to look different if you are going to add complication.
2. Why does removing a beneficiary seem like a board exam???
3. Speak in plain English. Nobody cares if it’s send money or eft. It is a payment we want to do. You can easily have pay on the landing tiles instead of EFT. Then have pay to bank account as an option and pay to cellphone as another.
If you can’t get the basics right we will question if you are good enough to even manage our cents.

I really Like the app and the feature you keep adding, Keep up the Great work. This is more or a request then a review. Can you guys please add scheduled payments and Scheduled transfers for goal safe, as that would cut out the manual transfers needed to place money into one’s goal save.

Credit card details disappeared
Honestly you guys are functioning like fly by night. I wake up one day and my credit card details are no longer there, I can’t pay it off and I can’t see how much I’m owing and I have received no communication whatsoever. I tried to call the customer care number but no one ever answers. This is honestly disappointing and I am this 👌🏾 close to closing this account I cannot deal with this level of inconsistency!

Simple and effective
This App is user friendly. You feel in control of your money. I just wish they could add a feature that allows you to name your fixed deposits just like your goal save.
Apart from the annoying abuse of notifications, good app and service
You can opt out of promotional notifications but you'll still be reminded to play lotto TONIGHT! Or be notified to use their secure app! (Which I am using?! Don't notify me!) Or to save something somewhere. Ugh.
Oh yeah, they've removed SMS notifications so you're stuck with these garbage notifications if you want to still receive actual transaction notifications.

Lack of Safety on the app
The bank is great however for security reasons I think there should be an option to have your goal save and fixed deposit hidden. It makes it hard to open to the app in public without worrying about who might be watching.
Another thing, it would be much convenient if we were able to withdraw the amount we want from the goal save without having to withdraw everything everytime we need a small portion of the savings.
Lastly, with the fixed deposit do I really have to open a new one each time i want to fix money?
